2. Tried a different battery, but the phone still shows no signs of life (no lights, no vibration, and no display).

3. Cleaned the battery terminals and the charging port.

4. Attempted a soft reset (Power + Volume Down) and tried to enter Recovery Mode (Power + Home + Volume Up), but there is no response.

5. Called the phone while it was plugged in, but there was no ring or vibration, suggesting it is not just a display issue.

What could be the next steps to diagnose if this is a motherboard issue or a faulty power IC? Any help would be appreciated.

Ice Maker: Icemaker works manually, but not automatically

My Costway 3 in 1 countertop water dispenser/ ice maker is not working. If I manually operate the lever/ switches, I can make it go through the cycle. But it will not work automatically.

Is there a troubleshooting process you would recommend?I haven’t found the schematics or in depth troubleshooting information online.

Could the sensor be incorrectly saying the ice is full which turns off the ice maker .

There are 2 wires going to the sensor. What position should the wires be in when the ice maker is on?

Dryer heater won't cycle on and off. Vents are clear because I can feel cold air from outside when dryer is off. I've also inspected ducts. Can a damaged blower wheel cause the cycling thermostat to fail or the thermal fuse to blow? Or both?

My Xbox Series X freezes, flashes a solid green screen, and then completely shuts down the console. This happens sometimes immediately upon launching a game, and other times after a few minutes of play.

I have already performed the following troubleshooting steps:

1. Opened the console and performed a deep cleaning of all vents and the fan.

2. Replaced the thermal paste on the APU and applied new thermal putty to the memory chips and VRMs.

3. Verified the motherboard interconnect cable is securely seated and undamaged.

4. Tested the console plugged directly into a wall outlet.

5. Attempted a factory reset (keeping games and apps).

Despite these steps, the green flash and crash persist. Since the behavior started before I opened the console, I suspect a hardware failure (possibly APU solder joints or a failing internal SSD).

Are there specific board-level components (capacitors, VRMs, etc.) known to cause this "green flash" symptom, or is this confirmed as a terminal APU failure requiring a reball? Any advice from technicians who have seen this specific failure pattern would be greatly appreciated.

My scribe is stuck in a boot loop and the hard reset of hold button for 40+ seconds does not do anthing. Try to conect to computer and it flickers in and out of this pc to fast for me to do anthing in file system. Is there anything else that can be done?

I got a Lenovo ThinkCentre m920q at a Goodwill for $4. After getting a power adapter for it, and disassembling it for curiousity, the power button light and the red thinkcentre light glowed and fan spun. It then beeps 3 times long, then 1 time short. Thinking the problem may be ram, went to microcenter and got a new sodimm ddr4 8gb. Produces same result. The video is with the new stick of ram. Typing anything on a keyboard when it’s on (f1, f2, delete, enter, etc.) does nothing. Any thoughts?

Chromebook: How do you remove Enterprise Enrollment?

I have a Chromebook that I bought off of Ebay, but it has Enterprise Enrollment on it. There is no way for me to get the password as I don't know who installed the Enterprise Enrollment and the person that sold it to me doesn't know either. I've tried to reinstall Chrome OS, but that does not get rid of it. I read that I can flash the motherboard, but now can't find the website where I read about the information. Can anyone help? I'm tech-savvy enough to follow instructions if anyone has any. Thanks from Brooklyn, NY. My plan was to install Puppy Linux on this.

I recently dropped my Samsung WB250F it was not a hard drop but enough to mess with the screen on the back.. it was only going white every once and a while but now it is a consistent white. I can still see my pictures but it's not as good.
