Maytag dryer: Thermal fuse keeps going out on Maytag electric dryer

The thermal fuse on my Inglis Maytag dryer keeps blowing. With the fuse out, the element still gets heated, but the dryer doesn’t spin. I replaced the fuse and the dryer worked for a good 30 mins and then it stopped. Again, i replaced the fuse thinking there was something wrong with the fuse, and it worked for a good 20 mins and stopped.

Can someone tell me what the problem could be?

HI Mayer, that’s exactly the type of fuse I used. Based on the information provided, do you think the issue is with the heating element (it turns on very hot soon as i plug in, even with the fuse out), the thermostat, or something else ?

PS Vita Slim: Battery charges, but green light only blinks once when turning on

I have a Vita PCH-2001 that I bought off eBay for parts and repair and I’m trying to figure out what the issue might be. The orange light turns on when charging and turns off when the battery is fully charged, however when attempting to turn on the system I am greeted by the brief flash of a green light and nothing else.

I am unable to get into safe mode, or make anything display on screen. I verified that the battery is alright by checking its voltage manually, and it sits at 4.18-4.2 volts.

Thus far, my only troubleshooting has been checking for water damage (none that I could find), and re-seating all the ribbon cables inside, which resulted in no change to the symptoms. It should be noted that this obviously included disconnecting the battery, which was what I originally tried thinking the issue may have been related to the previous firmware issue with Vitas.

Visually, I am unable to find anything wrong aside from some cosmetic scratches. Does anyone have any idea what the issue might be?

Spilled a small amount of water on laptop, I had a cover on the keyboard but some still got in there. I dumped it upside down immediately and then toweled it off. Next I used the blow dyer on low setting for 10 minutes before I realized our Hepa airfilter has a powerful fan so I put the laptop in front of the killer fan to dry it for 24 hours.

The computer works great — as long as it’s plugged in. The battery always shows 80% but the indicator says “battery is not charging”, and the “Power source: Power adapter”. The light will flash green for a second then stay at orange.

I ran the coconut battery app…

I had spilled water on my laptop keyboard and it was working perfectly fine it was charging slower than normal but it was working then today I had went to unplug my laptop and it turned of and wouldn’t turn on but as soon as I plugged it in it turned on idk what to do

Also is there an actual hardware difference in cellular models?. Saw an eSIM setting in a menu not able to access though.. would be fun to try and figure it out..

I have a LG oven and stove top, the burners are having a continuous clicking noise with a the sparkler getting ignited. I tried turning it off and cleaning it - but did not help. What do I need to do ? Also can I use the gas meanwhile - will that be safe ?

Kenmore 90 Series Washing Machine: Washer hums after filling, will not agitate, spin, or drain

I have a Kenmore 90 Series washer. Last week it began making a humming sound after filling. It will not agitate, spin, or drain.

I was able to empty it out and check the pump, didn't find any issues but replaced anyways. Issue persisted. Lid latch working normally as well. I can manually rotate the barrel from inside the washer and by spinning the coupler on the motor side of the transmission.

Removed the motor and verified the coupling was still intact, and did not notice any mushrooming or smell from the capacitor. I noticed the motor was very hot, but I am unsure if it was outside normal parameters. I also noticed a few wires getting very hot from inside the cabinet.
