FixHub Portable Power Station: FixHub battery - replace cells

I purchased this station when it first came out. it sat in a drawer for eight months. it was 90% charged or full when i did so. when pulling it out, it was dead. I was reading less than 2V from the cells.

Replacement battery packs were sold out here so i bought a DIY spot welder and six Molicel batteries. I replaced the cells and tabbed it the same way i saw it when i disassembled. I can read 4V from pos-to-neg on each cell. they all have the same chemistry (i drain/charge checked them).

I get 2.0V across the terminals/connector but I can't get the power station to come up.

I was able to hard reset the station and upload the latest firmware (1.4.3 at this time, i believe).

Is the BMS on the battery dead? is the pack not serviceable?

I would've just bought a replacement pack and called it a day but I'd like to try and salvage something from my attempt here.

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Google Pixel 8: Every time I try to add a finger print I get "Can't complete set-up"

I bought this pixel 8 as a refurbished phone from a registered and approved eBay seller. Everything works, except for when I try to add a fingerprint.

I've tried my thumb numerous times and also other fingers. The screen is clean, I've reset the phone, turned off and on, added moisturiser, pressed hard then gently, put screen protector mode on, etc. All of the troubleshooting tips given by AI.

It allows me to go through the process, but the second I press my finger on the sensor for the last time, to complete the set-up completion ring to 100%, a notification instantly pops up to say "Can't complete finger set-up. You can try again now or set up your finger print later"

Can anyone give any advice on this?

Dell Latitude 3480: Dell Latitude 3480 charger LED turns off - Motherboard short troubleshooting

My Dell Latitude 3480 has a short circuit on the motherboard. When I plug in the charger, the charger's LED immediately turns off. I have already opened the laptop and confirmed that the LED stays on when the DC-IN cable is disconnected from the motherboard, but turns off as soon as it is connected, even with the battery, RAM, HDD, and WiFi card removed.

Are there any common components (like specific capacitors or MOSFETs) on this specific board that are known to fail and cause this? I'm considering a new laptop, but I wanted to see if there are any last-ditch motherboard repair tips from the community before I give up on it.

Lenovo LOQ 15IAX9: My spacebar key is removed, what should I do

While I was working on my laptop, I noticed some tiny dust particles, so I blew into my spacebar key. After 2–3 minutes, it started feeling tight and the press became soft. I checked it and tapped it 4–5 times to try to remove any dust that might be stuck inside, but it didn’t fix the issue.

So I tried to fix it on my own. I used a nail cutter and a sharp object to remove the key. When I removed it and tried to place it back, it started sticking to the surface and wasn’t coming back properly. After trying for 15–20 minutes, it finally started working again.

However, the problem is that the key is not properly attaching to the scissor metal clamp (from the bottom side). I went to a local shop, and they told me that there is a spring inside and that I have lost it, so I would need to replace the entire keyboard, which would cost around ₹2500–3000.

Right now, the key is working, but I have a concern: it doesn’t seem to be fitted properly with the clamp. It is fixed, but not securely from the bottom side—it feels slightly lifted (around half a cm).

So I want to ask: is there really a spring inside the key or not? Or am I being misled by the shopkeeper? And how can I fix this?
