Melitta Caffeo Solo: Brewing unit won't go back in

The brewing unit of our Melitta Caffeo Solo did not going back in.

I found mentions of the motor not being properly aligned.

The official FAQ states: The motor might not be in the correct position. Check if the water tank is filled and if the drip tray is in place. Turn the appliance OFF and then ON again. Then simultaneously press the button for My-Coffee and the on/off button for more than 2 seconds. The motor will move into the correct position. Insert the brewing unit again and check that it is correctly locked in position.

However, this proposed solution did not reset the motor position in my case.

I found that the locking handle of the brewing unit moves a metal lever.

This metal lever engages a button in the machine.

By carefully pressing this button (i used the handle of a small spoon), the motor reset to the correct position.

Long story short: I don't have a question, and just wanted to post this here for future reference.

No sign of life other than panel lights all respond to touch. Not in any kind of lock or delayed start mode.
Frigidaire Dishwasher: Frigidaire FFID2426TS5A Dishwasher won't force drain or start cycle

Hi All,

I have a Frigidaire dishwasher, model FFID2426TS5A that won't force drain or start a cycle. When i apply power, the lights above the buttons all start up green, then the start/cancel light flashes. I try to force a drain (there's a small amount of water in the bottom of the dishwasher) and all lights go out on the button pad, and the dishwasher acts unresponsive until the next time I power cycle. It seems like a control board issue, but given the price of a control board, I would like to be 100% certain before I invest. Is there any way to know for sure?

Thanks, Ivan

Frigidaire Dishwasher: Not draining even after pump change

I have a Frigidaire dishwasher model LFID2426TF1A about 4 or 5 years old. A week or so ago it stopped draining. Having seen this movie before (different house different dishwasher) I assumed it was the drain pump. I just replaced the drain pump and it is still not draining.

There is no garbage disposal hooked up to it - no disposal at all.

I took the filters out of the basin prior to ordering the pump in case the issue was a clogged filter but after a good clean there was no change.

The drain hose is not clogged.

It makes sounds like it is draining but when it’s done and I open it up the entire basin (tub?) is full. This is true both before and after the pump replacement.

I’m about to order a pump and motor assembly but I don’t like to just throw parts at things when I’m not sure.

Anyone know what I should do? Is the pump assembly the right move? Is there something I’m overlooking?

Thanks

This dishwasher has started to not drain in all wash cycles. I can put it in diagnosic mode and fill it with water then make the pump drain and it's fine. If we put it in normal rinse mode it drains just fine. I've made sure the filter is clean and also made sure nothing is in the drain area by the little ball.

Dishwasher: Frigidaire Dishwasher wont do anything

My MIL called me over, her Frigidaire dishwasher stopped working. I went over there…a few days later. Water is sitting in the bottom, soap still in dispenser. First I reset the breaker. That did nothing. I closed it told it to start, the lights come on, it clicks but does nothing. All the lights work, lights flash if you open it while it says its running, cancel turns everything off but it won’t drain, won’t run, nothing. I haven’t taken anything apart yet. I cleaned the inlet which wasn’t dirty, checked the float, it wasn’t stuck. I told her I didn’t know and to buy a new one. But before we do that has anyone else had this problem? Is it maybe a simple fix? Please help if you can.

Update (11/09/2020)

Also checked to make sure the keypad wasn't locked and it wasn't. I held down the cancel button for a while and it clicked after a few seconds, still nothing. Tried different button combinations to reset a different way and nothing. Im at a loss unless it circuitry.

Frigidaire Dishwasher: Problems with a Frigidaire Dishwasher

Hello all.

I have a Frigidaire Model# FDB1500LFB0 and my problem is that…

after loading and selecting my cycle and hitting Start, my washer fills with water to the (I presume) proper amount of water in the bottom. The water is very hot. Then the system stops, and the only thing that will happen after opening it after this (anywhere from 3-15 minutes, I did this several times.) is that when the door is shut back and cancel pressed it will drain as normal. It was left to “run” once and the soap drawer opened, dumping the “pod” directly below it. The dishes had never had water on them and the “pod” was mushy from the ambient humidity, and in a spot directly under the drawer. If left on it will cycle through a fill/drain cycle but the spray-arms never move. I have cut the breaker to it on and off with no change.

Any help will be appreciated, thank you.
