Brother Printer: Brother MFC-L3750CDW touchpad not responsive in some areas

I don’t know how long ago, maybe two years ago, I accidentally knocked over a wax warmer and spilled wax onto the touch screen of my Brother MFCL3750-CDW printer. I tried to clean it up as best as I could see, and the touch screen worked but it does not respond at all in some areas. There’s probably some dried wax stuck inside the screen. Is it possible I can just replace a part and it would work? I took apart some of it using the L3770-CDW guide which was a bit different but still similar. I have no experience with these things.

Brother Printer: Brother MFC-L3750CDW - rear paper rollers grinding

My relatively new Brother MFC-L3750CDW has developed a fault where the upper rear paper feed rollers are grinding noisily. It looks as if some teeth on the plastic gears at the side have broken off or worn down (see photo). Does anyone know if this is a relatively easy fix and how to do it? I’ve tried taking the side panels off, but the gears I need to access look like a nightmare to get to. Thanks!

Brother Printer: HL-2280DW paper feed not working

I have a Brother 2280DW workhorse of a printer. I love the wireless/scanning/duplexing features, but am wondering if this problem is fixable.

The paper starts to feed and then never quite gets grabbed coming out of the paper tray. It doesn't jam, it just doesn't feed. When I feed manually, the printer works fine, but that is a royal pain!

Brother MFC-240C: Colour cartridges full but not printing

I've been using this Brother MFC for some time and I've been quite happy with it.

About a year ago I noticed that colour images would only print black and white.

My settings are to full colour. The cartridges are full and in good condition according to the ink refill place.

Not sure what else is going wrong.

Update (11/03/2015)

Actually, I updated the question to reflect the proper model is all.

I regularly hear the printer doing the automatic head cleaning.

I just wonder if it's possible to submerge those bits in rubbing alcohol or some other non-water source to remove clogs/build up.

Brother MFCL2700: Printer won't stay connected to network, drops constantly!

I bought this printer a year ago. Since getting a new modem/router, the printer WILL NOT stay connected to my wifi. I am able to successfully configure it and it works for an hour or so but the next day it displays an error message of "check connection".

I am beyond frustrated and I refuse to reset it up each and every time I have to print. I called Brother and their response was that the printer needs to be within three to five feet of the router (???!?!?). They said that the printers are "very sensitive" yet it's a "wifi issue, not a printer issue".

I never would have spent $150 for a wifi printer that needs to be literally next to my modem to work. I may as well have it wired directly. I have a small condo (1000 square feet) and the printer is in the room next to where my modem is located. It's maybe twenty or thirty feet away. There is no solid wall separating the two rooms--there's a large double doorway between them.

I'm so frustrated and upset that something so new and not inexpensive is useless. Do I have any options to keep the machine from constantly dropping the connection? I read somewhere else about "fixing" the IP address but before I mess with that want to make sure that is the right thing to do. Thanks!
