So, I would like to ask: I don't have the specific batteries required for my camera. I tried inserting two batteries to test it, but the lens only extended slightly outward, and shortly thereafter, the camera shut down. Could you please tell me which batteries I should use?

Canon M50: M50 is losing the time/date setting while changing the battery.

When I change the battery the M50 is losing the time & date setting. I know there is a capacitor built in instead of another small battery. Where is this capacitor, how can I reach it and how to repair?

Hi Everybody, does anyone have a parts list for the EOS 5D Mark IV please?
I need the part numbers for the hot shoe bracket, retaining screws and the spring plate insert.
Although the hot shoe looks identical to that on the 5D MkIII (Canon Part No CB3-4683), I can't find any references confirming compatibility or otherwise.

I have a Canon M50, but the screen is completely black. However, when I shine a light on it, I can see live visuals. I followed some video tutorials and even tried opening the camera to check for any unplugged ribbon cables, but the screen is still black. What should I do?

I’ve replaced mother board and all corroded ribbon cables. Every thing works except for the images and on the screen is half black and half green. I think the lens’s surrounding electronics got also damaged. Not sure if anyone has this problem.

Canon PowerShot A80: No shutter sound and completely black images

Hello, I’m using a Canon PowerShot A80 and recently encountered an issue with the camera.

Previously, I could hear a distinct “click” sound when taking photos, but now there is no shutter sound at all. When I try to take pictures, the resulting images are completely black. However, the camera itself still powers on normally, the menu displays correctly, and I can view previously taken photos without any problem.

Because of this, I suspect that the shutter might be stuck closed or not functioning properly. I also tried basic troubleshooting such as restarting the camera, removing the batteries, and testing in different lighting conditions, but the issue persists.

Has anyone experienced a similar problem with this model or similar cameras?

Is this likely a shutter failure, and is there any non-invasive way to fix it without fully disassembling the camera?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

My EOS 30D didn’t shoot with AF on.

First trigger in AF works good.

With manual focus it fires.

without lens , the camera shoots without problems.

if I change the lens , nothing change.

I think the problem is in the camera and not in the lens.

can you help me?

Man sd card got stuck in the camera. When it got pulled out a little piece broke now it says the sd card is locked even though its not.
