I owned my 7566 for 2 years, and the left/right button of the touchpad is not working , I have to click multiple times to have my click recognized by the computer (the tap to click function works perfectly fine).

I tried rebooting, resetting touchpad setting and windows update and none of them worked, any thoughts?

Dell Inspiron 15": Whirring sound from battery when I open my laptop

I just changed my laptop battery today. I connected it to charging, then open my laptop to see how long to 100%, before I turn it off again for full charge plus another 2 hours as per instruction.

Suddenly, there is a whirring sound coming from the fan which now seems to work. I thought the fan working and the sound is only temporary, but it doesn't stop.

I turn off the laptop, the fan stopped. Then I turned on again, then again there is that sound from the fan working again.

Now I just turned off the laptop, waiting for the full charge of the new battery. But I'm afraid there will be that sound again when I open my laptop.

What could be the issue here?

I'm afraid my laptop is overheating somewhere thus that whirring sound. Mind you, the sound is a bit loud, thus cause my concern.

Dell Inspiron 3501: Why does my audio no longer work?

My built in speakers no longer produce sound. In addition my built in microphone no longer detects sound. Also, the audio jack port, no longer seems to receive signal from external devices plugged into it. The only method I have found that allows me to hear audio from my laptop is by remotely connecting a blue tooth speaker or head phones. As well as using a non-aux cord to connect the laptop to another physical device with it's own speakers. I have already taken this to geek squad at best buy, and they ran a software check and it worked in store, but I am now still experiencing problems. Is this a hardware problem or a software problem?

Dell Inspiron 14 3467: Blinking Power LED 1 Long White 4 Short Ember

I have a Dell Inspiron 14 3000 (Service Tag 91T5S53)

I have been getting a constant Blinking Power LED (1 long white and 4 short ember) I cant seem to find the error code online.

The computer works fine with the power plugged in no issues, but when unplugged turns off immediately, which I thought indicated a battery replacement. I replaced the battery and nothing changed, I still get the same flashing power LED.

The replacement battery is recognized in Windows with a 55% charged capacity but doesn't charge any further nor does it discharge.

I tried uninstalling the Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control device driver in Device Manager and restarted the computer, but that failed to fix the issue as well.

I have ran the offline Dell Diagnostic several times but comes back with no errors.

I also ran the Dell Support Assist in Windows, and comes back with no errors as well.

There are no BIOS updates as I have applied all available critical and recommended updates.

Can anyone explain what the issue could possibly be and how to fix it?
