Apple TV 4th Generation: Apple TV 4 (A1625) Boot Looping

My Apple TV 4 is not able to fully boot up to the home screen.

It displays the Apple logo that you'd normally see during the boot process. After the light on the front of the device blinks 9 times, it seems to immediately reboot itself.

On just one occasion since this began, iTunes was able to see the Apple TV temporarily when I had connected it with a USB-C cable (with the intent to be to do a software restore on it, if possible).

I have tried two power cables (borrowed from another working Apple TV), two HDMI cables (not perceived to be an issue since we can see the boot logo on screen), different power outlets, and even different televisions.

There are articles on holding the TV and Menu buttons on the remote for 10 seconds to force it to restart. The Apple TV does seem to react to the remove (the light on the front will flash in response to it), but this did not permit a full boot.

Thoughts on what hardware components inside of this would be worth swapping out to get this working again?

Hi everyone,

I have a mechanical issue with my Anker Soundcore Space One headphones. The left earcup has popped out of the upper headband arm. The metal swivel pin (the one with the red O-rings) is fully exposed.

The audio still works perfectly, so the internal wire is not damaged. It seems the internal plastic lip/housing inside the headband arm that secures the swivel pin has lost its grip

I have attached some pictures showing the exposed pin and the opened earcup. Any advice or teardown tips for the headband arm would be greatly appreciated!

JBL Boombox: Won’t charge. Won’t turn on.

I have spent so many hours trying to figure it out. This is what chat gpt wrote for me.

I’m hoping someone can help before I give up on this thing.

I have a JBL Boombox that will not power on. I completely disassembled it and replaced the battery with a brand new one, but the problem remains.

With the battery disconnected, I tested the charger input. The small DC jack/USB board outputs a steady 20V through the 6-pin connector when it is unplugged from the main board. However, the instant I plug that 6-pin connector into the main board, the charger voltage collapses and I get a small blue arc/spark at the connector. The 20V immediately drops to about 0.5V, which makes me think the main board has a dead short on the input rail.

So far I have found:

New battery installed (no change).

Charger outputs 20V normally.

20V is present on the jack board with the main board disconnected.

Connecting the jack board to the main board causes the voltage to collapse to ~0.5V and produces a small arc.

Battery is disconnected during these tests.

I have a multimeter and can take resistance, continuity, diode, or voltage measurements if someone can point me in the right direction.

Has anyone repaired this failure before? Is there a common component that shorts on these boards (TVS diode, Schottky diode, input MOSFET, charger IC, etc.)? If anyone has a schematic, board-level repair experience, or knows the typical failure point, I’d really appreciate the help before I throw this thing in the dumpster.

My Q45 is making noise in the left earpiece when I wiggle it in the "lying down" position. I'm not familiar with the inside of it, but it looks more like an issue with some sliding contacts than just a broken wire, as the sound is consistent, like a worn-down potentiometer.
Sony WH-1000XM6: Adjustable earmuff hyperextended out of headband; How do I care for it

The left earmuff on my XM6's can slide out of the headband after something retaining it broke. This seems to have been caused due to single ear usage or pulling off unequally.

Important; It's working otherwise!

The 2 earmuffs are wired together, but the wiring has this hard plastic casing that I assume runs the entire inside of the wire.

On the CT Scan (thank you SO much!) the XM6's have this orange cable running the inside. Mine are still intact at the ends.

The headphones can slide back into the headband but they are noticeably more loose than to start with. There is foam lining the inside of the headband that seems to have been torn from when the earmuffs disconnected.

Question; What can I do to care for these now vulnerable, loose adjustable arms?

Panasonic Television: How to fix a really shaded screen (almost pitch black) for TX-48CX400E

I was watching a movie on my tv and after a while the screen would turn pitch black, but sound was on, I tought it might be a black screen, tested it with a flashlight, and the results were that the screen was really really black. I tried looking at different methods to repair, after I looked at some youtube tutorials I found out 2 of my resistors on the power board were really under they're written power (normally it should've been at 48k) but they are around 14k ohms which is really weird (everything was tested with a multimeter). I wonder if it would be the problem, should I try to put new resistors? Or should I try to check on the tv led's (I dont have the equipment necessary to check it)?
