Keurig K-supreme: Where does this black double-hook spring go in a Keurig K-Supreme K921?

A black double-hook spring, approximately 5/16” in diameter and 3/4” long, fell out of my Keurig K-Supreme (Model K921). I have confirmed it is not part of the K-Cup pod holder assembly.

The handle/lid area seems like a likely candidate, but I cannot see any obvious anchor points or hooks where it should be reattached. Where exactly does this spring belong, and what are the steps to reattach it? Does it require partial disassembly of the head/handle housing to access the mounting points?

I put the Keurig brand K cup in, pull down the top, and press the brew button. It works for a split second then the machine turns off and I waste a K Cup. The K Cup just leaks into my cup and I have to remove it and try again because if I try and use the same K Cup it doesn’t taste right! It happens with numerous Keurig branded K Cups including Hot Chocolate, Cafe Caramel, and Cafe Vanilla. It’s been happening at least 3-4 times a week.

This is my third machine I’ve received from Keurig support and it’s still happening. I’ve done all the needle cleaning, reseting, descaling, and many other fixes. The unit is not even 3 months old.

I’m just at a loss of what to do because I don’t see many people having the same problem. I’m also sick and tired of wasting perfectly good K Cups! Anybody have ideas how to permanently fix this?

EDIT & SOLUTION: I've been able to resolve the issue using a work around. This is not a fix and I don't know why Keurig hasn't fixed it after years of this happening.

When using a milk based K Cup, press it into the bottom by hand so the K Cup is punctured. Pull it up and rotate 90º and close the lid. This gives the K Cup two holes and much less pressure. It has worked perfectly since I've been doing this.

Got this new but when i plug it in, it does not turn on anymore. Heard a bang after plug-in. Seems its only 110 and i plugged it in with 220v. Anyway this can be fix?

My Keurig has started to brew small cups of coffee regardless of the setting it have it on. I usually make a large cup of coffee. I have cleaned it as per the directions to no avail.

Keurig Elite: The water coffee just dribbles out

I cleaned my brewer with white vinegar and used the paperclip trick. The water comes out nicely when there is no K-Cup or if I use the cup that you put your own coffee in. When I use a K-Cup, the water coffee just dribbles out. It's got to be related to that tube and how the coffee exits the basket when the K-Cup is in there, but I just can't figure out what the problem is...

I was cleaning my K400 this morning and pulled out the pod holder and the tray below that. This part was in the tray (pen shown for scale). I would guess it goes over one of the needles? Which way is up?
