Christmas Lights: 4 led light strings row & #2 does not work, but 1, 3 and 4 do? Help!

I have a series of 4 led strings (capable of up to 41 strings connected to one).

These exact lights: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Home-Accents...

See a picture for a diagram of the wiring. But here is my best explanation:

I run one full-length string one on gutters

I needed more, so I added the 2nd to complete the top and trimmed it to fit the required light area

I connected this to a 6ft. extension cord

the 6ft cord has 2 separate extension cord that runs off it.

22' extension cord to the 3rd light string in the connected series around windows #1

41ft. Extension cord to the 4th light string around window #2.

All lights work except string #2 in the series….

String numbers 2, 3, 4 are all trimmed to the needed length, and String #2 is greater than 20 bulbs.

Lights work on all strings EXCEPT #2...

I tried swapping the led bulb in the single socket to test since it cant be the fuse or light strings #3, and #4 would not work correct?

And nothing happens when testing different led bulbs, not quick burn out, or even a little bit of light. I am so confused...

EDIT - sorry I forgot the pictures! - hopefully, these annotated ones will be more helpful anyways? Thank you all for the help!

Lighting: Outdoor LED light fixture not working, AC power OK.

Hi all - hoping someone has an idea how to repair these outdoor mounted LED lights - They are permanently mounted for providing light in the front entrance area. For awhile they were intermittent, and now just dead. I have verified good AC power to the lights. Other lights and devices on the circuit work fine. I don’t see anything obviously wrong with them.

Anyone know of typical gotchas on these? Surface mount fuse or rectifier or something to look out for? Would like to be able to repair them rather than throw them away, they look great (when they work). I searched but it does not look like a common repair item (my luck…)

Loving this site, so far I’ve been able to resurrect an XBOX and a 1st gen Apple TV among other things - hoping to be able to contribute as time goes on.

Here is a picture of the installed light. I haven’t disassembled it yet, but I suspect its similar to any other. Been raining all day, but once it clears I’ll try to get more details.

Artemide Tolomeo: The head of my Micro model is flimsy

Hello,

We bought the Micro model for our bedside stand, and only after a while realized that the flimsiness in the top joint (where the bulb sits) is not supposed to be that extreme. :D

We literally cannot set it any way, it always falls down.

Would anyone know how to tighten that joint?

I removed the 2 small black caps on the sides, in hopes there would be a screw or two for the springs, but no luck there.

T8 Fluorescent Fixture: LED bulbs have started flickering and turning extremely dim instantly

We have a T8 fixture over our kitchen sink. We have been using LED bulbs compatible with T8 for years, They generally last nearly a year before needing to be replaced, but the most recent one started flickering after only a few months of use and went out completely a week ago. Since then we have replaced that bulb with two others, both of which started flickering almost immediately, and then after about a minute went exceptionally dim. This change is accompanied by a strong chemical odor (I'm assuming it's something happening to the phosporous inside the light).

Is this a common issue that is fairly easy to diagnose and fix on my own or will I need an actual professional to look into it?

Lighting: convert CFL 4-pin ceiling canister to LED screw type

I have 20 overhead ceiling lights with 4 pin CFL canisters that I want to convert to LED screw type. Beside the high cost of CFL bulbs, it seems they are getting harder to find. Rather than buy entire new canisters, I found an adapter that cost less than a couple bucks. Problem is that I am told the ballast needs to be disconnected & directly wired to the fixture. Although I’m not an electrician, it seems like it shouldn’t be hard to do. Where can I get a drawing or identify the exact wires I need to cut & exactly where I need to connect the wires? Thanks
