Motorola RAZR v3: How do I fix this phone if it was water damaged?

I'm quite new to electronics repair but I need to restore this phone as my mother had frequently utilized this phone for the purpose of recording videos and pictures during my early years of life. Unfortunately, about a decade ago, she apparently spilled water onto this phone which resulted in the screen to turn black. However, despite appearing as though this phone is completely dead, it shows some forms of life such as the number pad lighting up, hearing the startup jingle, and seeing the power light turn on. Another thing to add is that the water indicator did turn red. Thanks!

EDIT: I got the motherboard out, do I use ipa with the metal still on it or can I begin cleaning it? ( Like I said I’m new lol)

Sony Ericsson W810i: Phone Stuck on Sony Ericsson Start Splash Screen

Hello there, I recently wanted to revive my old Sony Ericsson W810i phone, so I purchased a power cord and battery only to find that the phone would startup but get stuck on the sony ericsson splash screen with the black background. When I power on the phone with the power cord plugged in it gets beyond that screen and gets to a charging screen, then if i unplug the phone the walkman animation plays and it get to the second half of the boot process (the sony ericsson logo but on a white screen this time) and then proceeds to shut down 3 seconds later. I have tried the obvious remove the battery and wait method and the hold c button method, the phone is also fully charged. Thanks, All Help would be Appreciated!

Nokia 3310: Why wont the nokia 3310 turn on after inserting lithium ion battery

I recently found an old Nokia 3310 and charged it. later it made some beeping sound that was about it needing a simcard. So i went and got one but just about when i got a simcard for it, it just died. didnt even get a chance to insert the simcard. i thought that the battery was completely dead so i bought a new one. This one was a lithium ion one. So i replaced the old battery with the new lithium one and began to charge it again. BUT. the strange thing was that it wouldnt turn on at all and somehow it discharged the battery when it was inside the phone. Why wont it turn on?

Kyocera Phone: Kyocera DuraXV E4610 – Main LCD Not Working After Possible Short

I have a Kyocera DuraXV (model E4610) and while trying to repair the outer LCD, I accidentally pulled off the flex cable from the front LCD. It seems that in the process, I may have shorted something on the main board.

Now, the inner LCD no longer displays anything—no backlight, no image, completely black. To rule out other issues (like the flex cable or screen), I tested the same screen and cable setup with a different motherboard, and everything worked perfectly.

So it seems the issue is definitely with the original motherboard. Does anyone know which chip or component might have been damaged or shorted that would cause the inner LCD to stop functioning completely? Any guidance on what I should be looking to replace would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

light phone 2: How repairable is the Light Phone 2?

I feel like this could be a standout device in the realm of simple, easily repaired phones, but I cannot find anything about how to open it up, nor about replacing parts (if it is easy or hard, tools needed, etc.). There is one video on youtube of someone disassembling one, but it seems pretty destructive, and I wonder if they could have used other tools. Can anyone weigh in that has experience with this problem?

Nokia N800: Is there any way to fix the bootlooping on my N800?

I have a Nokia N800 sitting around at home, and I used it a lot while it was alive. When I didn't use it for a couple months, it was simply bootlooping. I tried everything—restarting the device, taking out the battery, and even trying to flash new software into it. It just wouldn't work. My only leads are putting it into a fridge, or getting it far away enough from my Wi-Fi to boot up, because apparently, 5 GHz networks bootloop old devices sometimes (although my Wi-Fi is only 2.4 GHz). If anyone has gone into the same problem as me and successfully fixed it (I would like for it to be permanent, of course), please let me know?
