Acer Predator Series: PH315-55 Screen and Logo won't turn on

Laptop was connected to an external monitor. As I was looking at the external, I noticed the built-in screen slowly having a vignette effect, black from all 4 sides going towards the center. didn't really even reach the center and just froze.

I panicked, automatically chose to shut down using what I can see on the external monitor and removed everything I plugged into the laptop (charger, hdmi, keyboard and mouse). Even when everything was removed and shutdown, I noticed already that the keyboard and the other lights went off already and the screen still had the frozen screen for a couple seconds before it went totally black.

Now, I thought it was already time to replace the built-in screen itself BUT I noticed that even the LOGO behind the screen wouldn't turn on. So I thought that there is a loose cable or just got unmounted or something.

Currently using the unit with an external monitor since its the only way I can work using the laptop. I tried the thing where they said I had to press and hold the power button for like a minute or so, nothing. Also, when I try to check the display settings, the system cannot detect its own built-in monitor which made me think it just got loose or something

Am I thinking of the right thing? This is already not covered under warranty since this was purchased 2023. Do I just have to reseat the cable or is there a higher chance of the cable being damaged hence the need to replace it?

Custom Built Desktop PC: Recurring SrtTrail.txt boot error and random USB disconnects after Windows reinstall

My desktop PC is experiencing recurring SrtTrail.txt boot errors and random USB/device disconnects. I have already tried a clean Windows reinstall and driver updates, but the issues persist. I suspect a motherboard or power supply issue.

I've also experienced "Download failed" errors when trying to download drivers directly. I have an installation log from a failed driver attempt that I'm looking to analyze.

What could cause both the boot loops and the intermittent device disconnects? Is there anything specific I should look for in the installation log?

Drive Health: C: (89% Good), D: (99% Good). GPU: GTX 1080 Ti.

Steps already tried:

- Clean Windows install (Cloud reinstall)

- DDU for GPU drivers

- SFC /scannow and DISM commands

- Checked drive health with CrystalDiskInfo (both Good)

- Attempted driver/BIOS updates (failed download)

Toshiba Satellite A665-S5170: Factory reset not working on Toshiba Satellite A665-S5170 - 0 and F-keys fail

I am trying to factory reset my Toshiba Satellite A665-S5170, but the standard methods are not working.

I have tried:

1. Holding the '0' (zero) key while powering on.

2. Tapping the F8 key repeatedly during startup to reach the 'Repair Your Computer' menu.

3. Tapping the F12 key to access the boot menu and looking for a recovery partition.

None of these keys trigger the recovery process, and I am unable to access the Toshiba Recovery Wizard. Is there another way to force the recovery partition to boot, or does this indicate the partition is missing or the hard drive is failing?

Any advice on alternative reset methods or how to confirm if the recovery partition still exists would be greatly appreciated.
