Samsung Galaxy S III: Why is my screen black but everything else works?

I dropped my S3 in the toilet. I tried the rice trick; it did not work. I took it apart and tried to clean out any water corrosion. After i did that, it worked... but there was a slight purple screen discoloration. I sent it into Samsung and they ruled that it was beyond repair because of a pad that had lifted on the IF connector. When they sent it back, the screen no longer worked. It charges fine and turns on. I can hear the unlock screen when I touch it, but the screen is completely black. What can I do to fix this, if possible?

When I on the Wifi, it goes into light green mode and does not come into complete green mode[Which is wifi adapter is failing]

Any suggestions on this.

Tried factory re-set but still the same.

iPhone 6 Plus: iPhone isn't recognized by computer as a device?

My iPhone 6 plus will not be recognized as a device in my PC. I cannot sync to anything to add music or any kind of iTunes media that isn't instantly downloaded to my iPhone.

My phone will charge but my PC won't give a prompt saying a device is plugged in. This is not an issue with drivers because I have troubleshooted already and I have tried a different cord and even a different PC.

Any suggestions would be helpful, cheers.

Hello!

Today my iPhone's screen just turned off and doesn't seem to work. I believe it's a software problem, so I thought the best idea would be to force a reboot (you know, holding the lock and home buttons at the same time). However, I don't have a lock button, since it has been broken for some months now.

What can I do? Any tips on how to drain the battery of the iPhone as quickly as possible? I have started to send Messages from my Mac because that way it will be forced to emit the notification, but this could take hours.

HTC One M8: Device will not power on after battery ran dry?

My HTC One M8 will not charge or power up. The phone ran out of charge one evening (first time I let it do so, previously I had always put it on the charger prior to complete battery drain). I hooked it to the charger and the red "charging" LED would not turn on. I've tried several different chargers and power outlets, the phone is four months old, it's never been dropped nor has it ever been wet. I do not know if it is charging, as I have not been able to get it to power on since. The only odd thing I've noticed (besides it not functioning) is that when I plug the charger cable into the phone, an amber LED will light for a few brief seconds. I have tried a soft reset and I've also tried the steps for battery recalibration.

iPhone 6: Ear speaker low sound when making calls

I have a customer that brought his iPhone 6 saying his ear speaker volume was very low and he could barely hear what the other person was saying even in a quiet room. I did some tests and when I use the recorder to record my voice and listen to it through the ear speaker the sound is crisp and clear, I hear very well.

When I try to make a phone call, the sound is very low, even with the volume at maximum. I tried switching SIM card and even replacing the ear speaker and flex cable.

What could be causing this problem ?

For two weeks now, my side volume buttons haven't worked. When I try to change the volume, the little speaker picture doesn't even show up. I can't hear any of my incoming calls or text messages. But if I play music on my iPhone, I can hear it. So my speaker does work. I can't find any information about what I have to do. My phone is updated to iOS 5.1.1, and it isn't jailbroken.

When my screen dims or the back light is low the screen flickers. Turning the brightness up stops this from happening.

Samsung Galaxy S4: Won't turn on or charge, recognises on pc.

So, my Galaxy S4 is totally unresponsive. It won't turn on or even charge.

The backstory:

The phone was working perfectly after a new battery. I tried resetting the phone using the volume-down-home-and-power-button method.

However, I read incorrectly and held all 4 buttons down (power, volume up, volume down and home).

Now the phone is just black; it won't turn back on or do anything. The only thing it does do is show up as a recognized device on my PC.

I have never connected it to the PC before, so Windows installed some form of driver. Whenever it's connected or disconnected from the computer, the PC makes the regular Windows sounds as if the phone is recognized—but nothing pops up.

I accidentally dropped my phone in a sink full of water. I took the phone out right away, took the back off, and put it in rice. I took it out a few times after that to check it and when I did it still turned on and worked. However, at one point when I took it out the screen flickered and turned black. I put the phone back in rice for 24 hours and took it out a day later. When I tried turning it on it turned on, but the screen is still black and I can't see anything. Is there anything I can do to do fix this?

I work on iPhones often. With this one, I opened it and replaced the screen. Before I closed it up, I tried to turn it on, but it would not turn on. I also tried to plug it in, and it repeatedly made the charging sound.
