Craftsman Riding Mower: I need a actual picture of the installed drive belt

Hello--

The belt snapped the drive belt on my Craftsman Riding Mower 917.987140 46" automatic, Well, When i installed the new belt, It is still loose and i have done what it looks like in th eowners manual, If anyone can help it would be very helpful, If i can get a actual picture that would be even better. My mower will not go forward or in reverse when moving the levers forward or backward. No symptons could be detected prior to the issue. I was mowing and starting to go in reverse and it would not go. At that time it would not go forward either.

Craftsman Garden Tractor GT5000: Craftsman GT3000 Help engage blades, it dies

As soon as I engage the blades, the motor dies and has a new seat switch a new interlock switch a new ignition switch any help would be greatly appreciated

The PTO switch also tested fine and a brand new battery. Both cylinders are firing.

Craftsman Riding Mower: Craftsman lawn tractor won't start

2002 model 917.271653 17 HP electric start, Briggs and Stratton engine. Turned key on. Heard a small pop. Won't start. Solenoid won't click. Have power to the white line to the solenoid. Checked the solenoid separately by putting power to terminals and got connectivity across power terminals. Cable to starter and cable to ground has connectivity. Jumped starter from battery and it cranks. Turn key, won't start. No solenoid click. No nothing. Any thoughts?

I took the solenoid out and put power across the activating terminals by jumping from the battery. Then had conectivity across the power terminals. Checked the power cable from the solenoid terminal to the starter and the ground cable from the activation side to ground. Both good. Any ideas?

Just bought a Craftsman 247 203720 T 1000 series. Having trouble shifting from forward to reverse. It works fine once it's engaged but it's usually a struggle to get it to shift.

Need info on my LT2000 Craftsman riding mower. On adjusting the brake/clutch pedal. The tractor will not stop any longer when you push the pedal all the way. It also is having trouble on hills like the belt that drives it is slipping and needs to also be adjusted, or does one adjustment take care of both, Any help greatly appreciated.

My LTX 1000 will crank and run right up until I put it in gear and release the clutch. Then it acts like I’ve gotten off the seat and sputters. If I push clutch in it runs, but if I don’t it completely dies.

Drive belt is not tight when clutches in gauge, but it will engage when you hit the break belt will tighten and it will move with your foot on the break continually the clutch pedal does not do anything can you help?

Craftsman Riding Mower: Carburetor spitting gas - have already replaced Carb!

Hello all...

Well, after weeks of trying different things, I finally coughed up the cash to get a replacement carb and I have the same issue after I cleaned it. Here's the background:

- This is an 18 y/o Craftsmand 19.5 riding mower

- Problem started with coughing carb, no power

- Replaced air and fuel filters and plugs (while I was out, changed Oil as well)

- Same issue; low power, coughing

- Took carb off and cleaned thoroughly; all jets clear, gaskets were old (never replaced)

- Started well, but gas vapor through top of carb. Engine would choke and die when i put Air filter and associated housing on

- Took back apart and tried again. When Mower was driven under load, engine would sputter and die after a few minutes

- Bought the appropriate repair kit. Replaced all gaskets, needle, valve, etc. Same exact issue with no improvement

- I finally bought the entire carb and put it on today. Same exact problem.

Seems like there is too much air and its spraying the gas out the top? I really don't know what to look at this point. There aren't alot of options to adjust air/fuel on this. Any ideas would be helpful.
