at first i noticed a broken wheel, so i replaced it.

irobot local dealer says that when it gets wet the motherboard dies and isnt worth fixing (he wants me to buy a new one)

if its a motherboard problem, cant i just change the motherboard? or might it also be a sensor problem?

how do i make sure it is a motherboard issue and not senssor?

eufy RoboVac G10HYBRID: How to fix a Eufy RoboVac G10 Hybrid that won’t charge and reports low

How can I fix a Eufy RoboVac G10 Hybrid that stopped charging suddenly?

The vacuum was working normally, but one day it stopped charging completely. When I press the reset button on the bottom, it powers on briefly and says the battery is low and needs to be charged. However, when placed on the charging dock, it does not start charging (no LED change and no charging indication).

What I have already checked:

The charging dock has power

The robot is correctly positioned on the dock

Charging contacts on the dock and the robot are clean

Tried multiple wall outlets

At this point, I would like to know how to repair it, not just identify the cause.

Questions:

What are the recommended repair steps to restore charging?

Is battery replacement usually the correct fix for this issue?

Are there known internal components (fuse, charging board, connector) that commonly fail?

What should be tested first after opening the robot?

Any step-by-step repair guidance would be appreciated.

Thank you.

S7 MaxV Ultra: The Vibra-mop isn't working after replacement. Did I miss a step.

My S7 MaxV Ultra was giving a Error 27, Vibra-Mop Jammed. It was mopping, but I don't think it was raising the mop when it wasn't mopping. I found the replacement part on AliExpress. The part came in and seemed Identical to the old part. I found a youtube video on taking the robot apart. I replaced the part. Now when I run the robot it doesn't ever activate the mop. It washes the mop at the start of the session, but doesn't after finishing. I also don't see it lowering the mop and the floors aren't wet when it is running. I asked Roborock support but they just want me to send it in. Is there a process to get it to reset or calibrate the new module. Thanks for any responses.

Roomba 650 ignores virtual wall, but docks OK. I have the VWs that have a two position switch - auto/off.

I have tried new batteries in the VWs and even changed the sensor in the Roomba.

When switched on the VWs blink about every 8 seconds. I have two of them. Could they both be bad?

Update (08/08/2016)

Yes, VW = virtual wall. The VWs that I have do not have a power button that can be pressed down. They are slide switches and have two settings - OFF and AUTO.

I see no other way to reset them.

I recently bought a used Braava Jet m6, and the robot does not respond. When I put the robot on the home base charging dock, for a few seconds, it lights up white and spins, and then it stops. When I press the "Clean" button, the robot doesn't respond. The same for all the other buttons. The wheels are not jammed and I already tried holding Clean for 30 seconds. It came with 2 batteries but they don't seem to work.
Neato Botvac D7 Connected: The robot gets stuck in the startup routine.

hi everyone,
As usual, when I initiate a cleaning cycle, the robot starts moving away from the base. However, after several attempts, the motor begins to spin more forcefully and then abruptly decreases in speed. At a certain point, the robot displays an error message 3000.

I have attempted the following troubleshooting steps without success:

Cleaning the LIDAR sensors.

Performing a system reset.

Deleting the existing map and attempting to create a new one.

Ensuring that the head with lasers is free and not obstructed.

Despite these efforts, the problem persists, and I am uncertain about the next steps to take.

If anyone in the community has encountered a similar issue or has expertise with Neato robot vacuums, I would greatly appreciate any advice or recommendations on how to address this problem.

Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.

I put the battery back in the original roomba - fails - no charging.
For the hell of it I ordered another battery - failed - still won't charge.
Placed new battery in other roomba - works- battery charges.
I know it's making contact with the base because when the defective roomba moves to the charger it stops BUT the light stays green ( doesn't flash orange to indicate charging is active) The battery indicator slow flashes but then it disappears along with the green lit power button telling me no charging is happening.
I checked the contact pins and they are secure. No movement.

So...What say you guys?
