have a 5xx ROOMBA keeps getting error 2 CLEAR BRUSHES. Brushes are clean and unie will work for maybe 10 - 15 minutes then get same message. when checking brushes they are clean. This keeps repeating.

iRobot Roomba 5xx Series: When I turn my Roomba on, it doesn't go forward anymore.

Instead of going forward it spins around for a while and then starts to beep. Does anyone know how to fix this or what is causing it?

Neato Botvac D75: Error 3000 - Neato does not start moving

My Neato D85 has been working well. About 10 days ago, I changed its battery. It was working well until now. It gets ready to start but then stops and give me the message “press OK to continue (3000)”. I press OK and it tries to get ready but again stops and sends the same message.

What did I do? I cleaned its laser area with a cotton tip and pressured air too. Nothing. The disk moves though.

Any suggestions on what could happen but mainly how to fix it?

after fully charged for days , the green light is on. then working good only for less than 5 minutes . the power button will turn red.then won't work till I recharged again.

Error 3000 - Neato does not start moving

Samsung NaviBot SR8855: circuit diagram or schematic for accu loading

The Bot Device cannot load his accu.

It does not recognized the contacts of the docking station. It still search and find the docking station well, but search endless the loading contacts.

I'm still good in electronics but do not have any schematics and don't kow any about the firmware/programms of a lot of microcontroller build in.

iRobot Roomba 650: Resistance in right wheel/"error 5"

I've been getting the "Error 5 right" message on my Roomba 650. The right wheel seems to have twice the resistance of the left wheel. I took out the wheel module, opened it up and cleaned everything out. The problem persisted so I ordered a new wheel module. Still no luck. Then I noticed something very odd: the wheel has normal resistance when it's out of the Roomba but as soon as I lower it into place the resistance immediately doubles. Even with the battery removed this happens. I've very meticulously cleaned out the wheel well and it makes no difference. I've also cleaned the optical sensors and tried doing the Spot/Dock reset. Nothing. Any ideas??

my powerbot recently started to show this glitch where it actually runs pretending like it is cleaning but without actually vacuuming anything.(no powerbrush running) If i hit pause and then start again it starts and runs as expected. I’m not sure how often does this happen since it cleans mostly when I’m not home. I was only able to catch this on weekend.

So I just got my robot vacuum back after lending it to my brother.

Turned out it stopped working a while ago.

When I got it back I started to diagnose it.

The first thing I noticed was, when it's docked in the charginstation, it turns on and I can adopt it into the smart things app. The battery read 0% and no matter how long it charges it wouldn't go up.

So I started by disassembling the battery down to its individual cells. Turned out 5 out if 6 cells were completely dead (absolute 0 volts).

So I ordered some new cells and put the battery back together. The battery now shows 21,7 volts. But it still doesn't want to run outside the chargingstation.

When I use a multimeter on the battery, while it's connected to the chargingstation it shows about 25 volts on d+ to d- (the plugs from the vacuum to the PCB on the battery). And still 21,7 volts on b+ to b- (the spot welded tin to the battery). It has now charged for about 2 hours and it's still about 37% charged (so not getting charged).

I've tried to put the PCB under an thermal camera to see if anything gets hot, but it doesn't. Even with it plugged into the chargingstation, without the chargingstation or it disconnected from the robot. I've also tried to connect 21 volts 1 a with a powersupply connected both on d+ to d- and on b+ to b-, yet nothing gets hot.

Anyone have any idea on how I could fix this?

I'm pretty new to this stuff, but I do watch some youtubers like NorthridgeFix and TronicFix so I have some general idea.

Should I disconnect the cells again and maybe try injecting voltage over some of the chips on the PCB or check the resistance on some of the caps? If so i would love some guidence. I don't have a chip programmer yet, but I will order one sooner or later, if needed.

iRobot Roomba i7: How to stop my i7 from spinning in circles in one place?

When I tell my i7 to vacuum, it comes off of the dock about 3 feet, and proceeds to just spin in circles. The wheels are clean, and the trash bin is empty. I'm not sure what else to try. Any help would be appreciated, we've only had this robot for 2 months.

iRobot Braava 380t: Low area coverage and quick draining of Battery

iRobot Roomba 880: Roomba not picking up

I have had my roomba for about 1 1/2 years. It is significantly quieter than it used to be, and there is no air exhausting from the back vents. It’s still picking up larger debris but does not have much suction. I have cleared out debris from the rollers, filter, bin, and wheels and it didn’t help. Local vacuum repair won’t fix roombas. Any suggestions?

Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra: LiDAR won’t spin

The LiDAR will stop spinning. This seems to be a common problem with their design. Sometimes it’s debris that gets into the housing. Others the motor blows out. There are YouTube videos showing repairs on older models but none on this model. A video would be helpful as the design seems to be slightly different.

Also, any advice on upgraded replacement parts to fix the weak points would be helpful.
