Samsung J7 Pro: Why doesn't my screen show true black?

I got my screen replaced, and it can show true black on some windows, but it doesn't show it on the homescreen or other apps. But sometimes it glitches and shows true black. but it gets annoying when watching YouTube since the screen flickers between true black and just "backlit" black.

So recently i made technician to fix my phone, I used my phone for more than 3 days now and I opened tiktok and I noticed a green neon vertical line appeared on the right side of my phone so i restarted my phone and it wont come off. Can anyone help it would be great😃

Hello! I want to fix this phone without going to a service, even if that’s the only way. I dropped it and it doesn’t show anything on the screen. It just has a vibrate loop. I tried to press volume down and power button, volume up and power button, volume up/down, home button. power button. It didn’t worked. Is any way to repair it without investing any money?

Samsung J7 Pro: Why do I only get sound when i'm in a call?

Yesterday i came home from school and tried to play some music, but my phone had no sound.

I checked the volumes, and restarted my phone; still nothing.

I went on youtube and researched the issue, and found a bunch of videos telling me i had some dirt or lint in my headphone jack. I cleaned it out with a q-tip just like advised, but it changed nothing. Then i found that the phone still recognised when the earphones were being pulled from the jack, and stopped my music when they did.

At this point i thought my speaker was dead for sure, but then my mom called, and when i picked up i could hear her clearly.

Maybe its just the ear speaker thats working?

If the speaker really is busted, how would i go about fixing it?

Any help in solving this issue would be very appreciated and i thank everyone in advance

Samsung J7 Pro: My phone screen went dark randomly and didnt turn on after that.

The screen does not turn n but every few seconds it vibrates and along with that the screen flashes a small line of light on the right side. This line of light that flashes when the phone does that vibrate thing is only 3/4 of the screen and the line is very thin, about the size of a pencil head. Please help

If I press the lock screen button or even the screen off button on the assistant menu it turns to black screen(that’s what its suppose to do right?) but when i press the power/lock button again it doesnt open anymore but I can still hear music i was running but the screen is just like black not even turned on. The only way for me to fix this is use the volume down+power button+home button everytime but i need to do it twice otherwise a message saying warning custom os something appears. I recently updated it to android pie. So right now I need to restart my phone everytime i wanna use it

My J7 2017 fell then purple ink appeared then it got replaced 2-3 times 2 unoriginal 1 original (2018) then somewhere in (2019) it fell again then i tried to turn it on but it won’t turn on , tried charging it and turning it on but still won’t respong. I have a samsung galaxy j7 SKY Pro, but there was not a category for it so I'm hoping someone can help in this section.

I dropped my phone in a puddle while out doing field work. Only the top portion got wet and i dried it off as best as possible. Unfortunately, I was in the middle of nowhere when it happened in the rain so any chance of putting it in rice or taking it apart in a safe dry environment had to wait until that night when I got back to civilization.

Stored it in rice overnight. Everything is working fine except for my cameras. I rely heavily on my cameras for data collection photos, so I would like them to be functioning again. I get a “Warning: Camera failed message” and then the program closes.

I've tried looking up tutorials for my phone, but all of them are for the plain s7's or other renditions of the Samsung galaxy's and I don't have the same prompt options they have listed.

I can take a bird apart and put it back together in fine working order, but I don't know anything about the inner workings of electronics. Does anyone know if this is more likely a software issue or a hardware issue? The closest repair shop that does phones is over an hour away and always closed when I get off work. My husband has gamely volunteered to buy a new camera and try to replace it for me but I wanted to exhaust my software options before I opened it up.

My Samsung J7 Pro was subject to water spray from a plumbing incident and I did the rice thing and then left it in the sun for a few minutes to warm it a little, but I still have no active touch screen. I can't therefore unlock it and it won't shut down - I've tried button combos from online guides, but those instructions are more for issues when it won't boot rather than not shut down.

Samsung J7 Pro: New screen not responding to touch/swipe

My phone fell and the screen broke and became unusable. I removed the old LCD assembly, then plugged a new assembly. When I turned on the phone, everything was displayed perfectly on the new screen and all the buttons worked. However, nothing happened when I tried to tap or swipe. I already returned that LCD assembly because I thought it was defective, but I just received a new one from a different vendor and I see the same issue. I suspect there’s something I should be doing with my phone. Please help! Thank you.
