Replaced Lid Lock W10059230 with Maytag recommended replacement W10619844 lid lock. No change in error code of DL/DU, DU specifically.

I dismounted the new lock and left it outside the enclosure where it was observable and while the old lock reacts and attempts to lock, the new lock does not react at all.

Any ideas?

My 14 month old (warranty expired) front loader Samsung wf45k6500av/a2 is leaking water from around the drain pump filter cap during the whole cycle.

Do you think I just need a new drain pump filter cap or is there a bigger problem?

And yes, the filter is clean, nothing seems to be lodged in the tubes either.

When machine is turned on, can hear the hot and cold valves turning on momentarily allowing a trickle of water to enter the bowl then no water flows.

Removed both hoses from the inlet valves and confirmed good flow is present (Currently filling the machine manually thru the filling cycles via the hoses to complete washing and machine works fine).

With hoses connected to the inlet valves, set machine to cold fill, auto water level and turned on cold tap only and started machine. No cold water flow. Turned off cold water, set machine to hot fill, auto water level and turn on hot tap only and restarted machine. Hot water filled for about a minute then machine went into water recycle mode and hot water did not flow from that point with machine staying in recycle water mode.

Hope you assist and provide advice.

I noticed the uneven spacing and the yellow mark while pulling motor out of the box. It has a T shape marking from the factory. Hopefully means: "Tested". Anyone knows what that means? Also some o the cardboard got stack on the lamination on one corner due to rough handling. I tried to brush if off buy it's stuck. I am guessing that's not a problem since there are stickers on the stator anyway... Thanks
