Xbox One Elite Controller (Model 1698): about Xbox One Controller Action Button Covers compatibilty?

Hi,

I bought the expansive Xbox Elite controller, few days ago.

nothing wrong with it (it's better than the "normal" Xbox controller), but I have one problem :

I have an eye problem, and the button on the Xbox Elite controller are all "Gray" coloured (or smoked... ).

Microsoft had the bright idea to wash all the yellow, blue red or green colour of the button with gray colours...

I'm still new to the xbox, so I don't know the buttons by heart..

Anyway, my question :

Can someone confirm that the " Xbox One Controller Action Button Covers " sold inside ifix store are compatible for the "normal" Xbox controller AND the Xbox Elite controller ?

Thanks in advance for your reply !

Cheers

Hi! I recently installed new joysticks from Gulikit, I purchased them off Amazon. I followed the I fix it instructions and installed them. The right one works totally fine however, the left one seems to drift to the right but when you click the joystick in it goes back to center slowly. (See video) up and down works fine but left and right won’t do anything on the left joystick. Thanks in advance!

Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller Series 2: Can't remove thumbstick domes, they just spin. What's going on?

I'm trying to replace my bumper switches, but I need to take off the thumbstick domes to do that. I can get them to spin clockwise or counterclockwise, but they do not come off, no matter how much I rotate them. I tried the tall thumbstick, a wrench, a socket screwdriver, and even my drill, but nothing can get the thumbstick domes to unscrew. Any suggestions as to what's going on and how to fix it?

Xbox One Wireless Controller 1697: How to remove the trigger pins holding the bracket?

Hi, first time posting.

My Xbox one trigger has broken. I've found the root cause of my problem. The Trigger bracket (not the piece you unscrew), has snapped on one side. I need to remove the metal pin/rod that holds it and the spring in place.

However, I don't know how this pin is in place or how to pull it out. There's literally nothing on the internet about these pieces.

Help is appreciated

Regards

I’ve already found that the problem is with the “boxes“ under sticks (firstly I thought it was little trash from the plastic or something). Got from Internet package with two fresh new “boxes“ and even with nice repair tools (searching for torx9 screwdriver can be a problem). And funny I lost tutorial about changing of “boxes“ and don’t even know what to google (and IFIXIT don’t have manuals about changing of those). Anyone knows how to change those “boxes“?

Xbox One Wireless Controller Model 1537: 3.5mm female jack problems?

I recently encountered a problem where I get static white noise in my headset. The controller in question is an Xbox One Elite controller.

I have trying multiple headsets with the controller and both have static. I also have my plain controller that also has a 3.5mm jack with both headsets and it has no static at all. So i can conclude that the problem lies with my Elite controller.

I have tried using the rechargable battery pack, pack with chord, batteries, batteries with chord, and chord no batteries. All have the same static white noise.

Is there a way to fix/replace the 3.5mm jack or is there any other solution to my problem?

I initially suspected the sticks but that can't be the case, as they suddenly behave normally upon entering the Xbox accessories recalibration screen, before reverting in a matter of minutes.
