iPad 10 Wi-Fi: iPad Power Button/Touch ID Repair

Hi there. Can someone help me with the iPad's power button? I'm 15 and trying to fix my iPad's power button. I see that some kind of black piece holds it in, but I do not know how to put it in place. Also, I need help installing a new LCD. How much are those? Please don't ignore this question. I've been using my iPad for a while now, and I have a lot of important stuff on there.

iPad Mini: iPad Mini Home Button Not Working After Digitizer Replacement

Replaced an iPad Mini digitizer today and all seemed to be ok prior to putting the actual digitizer on.

But after putting the digitizer back on, the home button does not work, or to be more accurate, it always thinks it's pressed.

We tested the home button prior to putting the digitizer back on and it was working. For some reason the iPad thinks the home button is always depressed (if you press the power button, it takes a snapshot).

Any ideas?

iPad 8: How do I replace my ipads charging port?

As said in the title I have an Ipad gen 8 and its been very picky about how its plugged in to charge. A few days ago it stopped charging all together. I took it to the genius bar and was told the port was the problem and I needed a new ipad (not an option at the moment) so does anyone have any resources of changing/repairing the charging port of my Ipad? (also very suspicious that it $@$* itself a month before they stop servicing this gen of ipad rolls eyes)

iPad 2: How do I fix "iPad is disabled" error?

Hi,

In my tiny community, I'm known for fixing iPhones and iPads. The other day I got a very interesting iPad 2 (iOS 7.1) which has been totally disabled with wrong passcode tries. The owner swears she always entered the right passcode and it didn't unlock.

She even tried so long that now the iPad only says: "iPad is disabled. Connect to iTunes." When you connect the iPad to iTunes, it says it's locked with a passcode. Really? Who would've thought. :)

I even went to her place to connect the iPad to her computer because I naively thought the iTunes there will definitely say I should enter the passcode. Well it didn't. She of course doesn't want to lose all the data, because she obviously didn't back up this iPad in a very long time.

I'm playing with the idea of opening the iPad and disconnecting the battery. Do you guys have any experience with that? When I reconnect the battery and turn the iPad on, will it offer me a chance to enter the passcode?

All constructive opinions and questions welcome! :)

iPad Pro 10.5": Prompted for update went to remove apps froze up and boot loops

Hello,

Working on a ipad pro about two years old. It's for a friend. The ipad had an update but wasn't executed because storage was full. My buddy went to delete some apps and when doing so the ipad froze and shut off and ever since when powering on or hooked up to the charger it boot loops on the apple logo. I can get it into dfu mode and tried to restore it but no matter how many pcs I try and different cables it always results in I believe a 4013 error. Won't restore. I've tried multiple pcs both windows and mac same result. Can't figure out if it's hardware or what. It's only about two years old. Model is:. A2197. Any tips appreciated. I'm thinking it's toast. I seen a few people post to remove screen and try restore and also front facing camera and restore and sometimes it works due to an issue with screen detection in ios or ribbon cable bad. Wanted to ask if anyone has found a solution to this as everything online just says take it to Apple after trying everything I have plus some. It's out of warranty so they'll just say buy a new one.

iPad Mini 2 Wi-Fi: Is there anyway to remove Icloud Lock For free?

So basically my grandmother gave us her old iPad mini 2, which she was locked out of because she could not remember her apple id or password, and she did not remember the phone number linked to it. We took it to apple and they said without a purchase receipt which we dont have, they cant unlock the device without proof of ownership. Since we dont know the apple id, phone number, or password, and dont have receipt, we have considered using a third party online tool, because there are reports of it actually working. So if anyone know if there is a completely free to download software, that will unlock my ipad for free, please let me know. I want to know if it is free and will it also unlock the whole device for free.
