iPhone 6s Plus: Half screen darker than other

Bear in mind this doesn't have to do with lines. It's the brightness of the screen, darker on one side than another, and this is on a new screen.

This is a new screen, and for some reason it's darker too left, but more dark on almost all the left side. I've never had this happen before. Has anyone else seen this or know why?

iPhone 5c: iPhone 5c Black Screen After Replacement?

I just finished replacing an iphone 5c screen, and checked to see if it would power on before I put the screen back fully into place. The apple logo came up and the phone powered on normally, so I shut it off and put the screen fully into place. However, the backlight seems to come on but the screen remains black with no apple logo. It still responds to charge still and vibrates but the lcd remains black. The connectors look normal and do not appear damaged in any way. I have tried hard resets and taken the phone apart several times with no avail. I have also tried other screens which produce the same result but work in other phones. I fear this may be a short in the logic board, and if it is such, is there any fix besides completely replacing the logic board?

iPhone 6: Touch ID fails to setup after disassembling iPhones with iOS 10.0.2

Hello, I was disassembling several iPhones (my included and an iPhone of a friend) both are iPhones 6 with 128GB. I replaced twice the display of the iPhone 6 of my friend, and everytime it worked properly. Same was done with my iPhone. Then today I had to open both iPhones. And after assembling them again, the Apple TouchID sensor (which are original and not swapped) were not functioning anymore. Both iPhones tell me "Failed Unable to Complete Touch ID Setup", I already did all the tricks. Reset, Hard-Reset, iTunes downgrade to iOS 9.3.5 (from both 10.0.2).

After all things didnt work and the Touch ID fails, I have a bad thought, that Apple did something in iOS 10.0.2 which prevents the Touch ID to work after the iPhone was disassembled. Something like in the past with the Error53… I hope someone can prove me wrong and help me out with the issue by providing a trick how to reset the Touch ID and complete the Touch ID Setup.

iPhone 4S: iPhone 4S display black and constant vibrating (sounds) when charging?

I was repairing an iPhone 4S for someone and all went well. I reassembled it and turned it on, but the screen was black. At first I thought the battery was flat, but the phone was on and working (the CPU warmed up etc. etc.) I plugged it into my computer and it makes the sound that any iOS7.x.x makes when you start charging it. Thing is it makes this sound every 10 seconds or so as if i'm plugging and unplugging it. The screen is still black all through this. I assumed that the LCD was dead. (at this point I'd tried cleaning the connections, reseating the connections, blowing the phone out with an air canister, restarting the phone, resetting the phone. (I haven't restored it as it's not mine and refuse to do it without permission for obvious reasons). None of this has worked. I gave up and fixed a few more things by this point the battery had ran dead and I plugged in a new 4S screen that I had lying around. I held down the lock button and it worked, the phone showed the "needed charging" icon so I plugged it in and let it charge for 30 minutes. I came back and all was working well, so I unplugged that screen and plugged in the installed one, and truth be told the screen was black again. I plugged in the other screen and it was black too. I tried 2 more (cracked but working) screens and they were black also. I replaced the battery and it was still black. If it was a faulty LCD why would it not work with the other screens? If it was a damaged motherboard why would it work, not work, work, then not work again? I'm baffled. It's also recognised in iTunes, but has a password (which I have, but I don't know exactly what I'm pressing so unlocking it is a pain)! Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is the first time it's happened and i've fixed probably 40 iPhone 4S's. Thanks in advance! :)

iPhone 5: Why does my phone die at a very high percentage?

For a while, my phone has been gradually increasing at when my phone would die.

(eg, a month before my phone would die at around 40-50%, now it dies at 90-100%)

This happened a while ago with the same phone and some how, my phone fixed itself (I don't know how it happened) and it went back to normal (dying at 0%). But, the problem repeated again and I've tried everything (DFU restore, discharging and leaving it overnight) and my last resort is buying a new battery or even a new phone.

I've seen some posts where people say you run a battery-intensive app and let it discharge until 0%, but it's impossible for me, since I can't reach even below 50%.

When it dies, it stays at the flat battery screen and will instantly reboot once a charger has been plugged in.

Info about my phone:

-Bought my phone from a friend

-I have gotten the battery replaced, so my warranty is voided

-iOS 9.3.2

I would like to not buy a new battery, as it costs a lot of money.

Suggestions thanks :-)

(edit- when I reboot it, it goes to a different battery percentage, different to when it died. eg it died at 100%, but when rebooted it shows 96%)

iPhone 6s: iCloud lock removal by hardware replacement possible?

This question might be slightly different from some of the other questions asked about this topic.

Obviously, it can be done by replacing a few chips on the logic board and reprogramming the NAND chip or something like that.

But, my question is, can you somehow reprogram the EXISTING chip that came on the iPhone or is a new one needed? I saw a forum somewhere where someone had tried this but never updated his post.

Also, some special tools and software are needed for this type of project. I would love to know specifically what kind of software and tools are needed for this kind of job, and also, where I could buy them.

There are plenty of sites that sell this kind of material, but I want to know a reputable site that sells quality products and someone who doesn’t scam you into giving them your credit card information but never gives you a product.

I plan on repairing and flipping phones later in life as a side-job and depending on how much the chips cost that need replacing, doing iCloud unlock by hardware replacement. I don’t know how much the chips cost or anything like that, but considering you can get an iCloud locked iPhone 7 for about $50 and sell it for around $400, this may be profitable.

Thanks for your time and answers, they are much appreciated!
