I just copy and pasted the text but let me know if a screenshot would be better for you to work with.

I really appreciate you taking the time to look into this for me. It’s very kind of you and it helps make my search for answers so much easier. Thank you!

Well, that’s great to hear! I am A-M-A-Z-E-D at how quickly you were able to narrow down the problem and have a solution for me! Even more so, I didn’t expect to get a solution so specific and down to the T. I just assumed I’d be given a huge list of possible problem areas and the options to fix them, but this is truly a relief. I can’t thank you enough, you’ve made my job so much easier now. I especially appreciate all the links to the parts, the repair guides and the how to guides you attached for me as well. You don’t know how much time you’ve saved me by doing that. So, thank you, thank you, thank you a million times!

I hate to take up more of your time and I hope this is okay, but I do have one last question I have to ask you and I’m only asking because I’ve spent one too many hours searching online for this….Do you know of some kind of chart or diagram online on the iphone 11 that shows every internal screw size and their location? Most of my repair experience has been dealing with the iphone 6 Plus and iphone 6s Plus and since I was able to find a chart or repair guide video online specifically showing those two things, I have it set in my head that there has to be something like that for the iphone 11 too. At least a YOUTUBE video that covers all that throughout the entire tear down process. You seem to be very knowledgeable in this topic of iphone repairing and with that usually comes with a lot of time and hands on experience so I thought maybe at some point you’ve come across something like that or know where to find one. Long story short, there were two instances during my back housing replacement repair where I ended up with 3-4 screws in front of me, all of which were complete different sizes, and unfortunately I made the decision not to mark it down where they came from thinking I would remember but I was wrong. And with all the hours I spent looking online for something that showed the screw sizes for the two locations I was clueless on, I could not find anything at all! I also reached out and messaged a couple repair places online but only one responded and they didn’t have anything or knew where to find something like that. I’m really hoping you could help me, but If not it’s no big deal. I’m extremely grateful for everything else you helped me with previously!!! Thanks again! I look forward to your response.

iPhone 11: My iPhone 11 randomly powers off

I am fixing a IPhone 11 for a friend. His phone would randomly power off, and would drain the battery too quickly. I considered the best repair to replace the battery. I bought an IFixIt kit for the phone, and it replaced the OEM battery for the new one. The phone still has the same issues. Is it a circuit issue? The back glass is shattered on the top left corner before I fixed it. Would that have caused something?

iPhone 11: Boot looping - panic log giving different errors

My Iphone 11 started boot looping continuously about 2 weeks ago. Initially, it would show the Apple logo for a few seconds then restart with the same. It would never progress to home screen. As a result, I wasn't initially able to read panic logs.

I attempted a reset which made no difference so thought that I had no option but to do a full restore. This didn't work stalling at near the end every time. Eventually after dismantling phone and unplugging the screen and the front camera, I was able to restore the iOS with 3utools. Now the phone switches on and for a short time, everything works.

Since then the phone boot loops on a unpredictable basis. On standby, it might boot loop every few hours whereas during active use, it never passes 3 minutes without restarting.

I have read panic log (I have data from about 100 restarts). Most of the time, it mentions Prs0 sensor missing but sometimes it is a AOP error.

I downloaded a Barometer app and interestingly most of the time, it displays 0 hPA.

iDevice panic log analyzer suggests: Charging flex, power button or NAND as possible causes based on about 30 checks.

I changed the Charging flex yesterday, and for the first time after restart, it worked for more than 3 minutes (maybe about 5 minutes). The Barometer app did show a valid reading during this time.

Sadly, the phone then switched off and resumed its previous behaviour. The Barometer app was back to 0 hPA.

Next strategy might be to replace power button. The other possibility is that the the Charging flex is defective (was not OEM as due to my current home location, used flexes are difficult to get).

The phone has been repaired by me before about 1 year ago. I replaced the screen twice (OEM with new glass bought on ebay) and replaced the battery with aftermarket one. Since these repairs, it worked perfectly for over a year. The screen has 2 small areas at the edge where it appears there may be fluid or separation of the layers. This has been present for several months and I assumed that it was an imperfect glass adhesion from replacing the glass before. I am not aware of any significant water damage and I cannot see any corrosion inside. There is no obvious physical damage.

Please help!

iPhone 11: Touch screen only works if I hold it

I’ve just replaced my screen with a part ordered here at iFixit. First I thought that I did everything right but now I noticed that the touch only works if I hold it in my hand. If it’s just on the table it won’t work. Did I mess up the grounding? Or the connector?

The right bottom of the screen seems to work better than the rest
