iPhone 11: iPhone 11 screen warning and Apple certification

Hey guys I’m wondering since Apple has locked the iPhone 11’s and they won’t take any 3rd party screens Is anyone worried about that? Has anyone tried to apply for the Apple certification repair store? And if so, how has the process been? And if you have any advice about it? Or have anyone replaced an iphone 11 screen with a 3rd party one yet? I just got the qianLi icopy thing it works amazing. I wonder if we would need to used a device like icopy to remove the iphone 11 screen warning.

iPhone 11: How do I find the developer options

How do I find the developer option in my I phone 11. This I phone is much more complicated to figure out then my Android Samsung Galaxy A32. I have already gotten the developer option turned on in the Samsung, and the Samsung is rooted.

I had to change phones because the Dexcom G6 glucose monitor will not work on any Android phone. And they don’t spell out that fact in there tv ad’s about the dexcom g6 glucose monitor not working on Android phones. And the Spectrum I phones cost more money then the Spectrum Android phones.

iPhone 11: Display discolouring after battery replacement

Hello,

My issue is discolouration at display edges after battery replacement. The phone is iphone 11.

So i needed to replace the old battery (it was 78% and not bulged), removed the old one no issues, put the new one flush, cable on the side (not on top), removed the old adhesive, put the new adhesive on the sides, I had to redo the adhesive, because i did not manage to put it correctly at first and after that closed the phone without much effort and the display fitted fine without effort, i put the screws without overtighting them and the next few hours everything was great, but at the next morning (the phone was left charging overnight) it had yellow discolouring on the edges of the display - like there was pressure from the inside, opened the phone again removed the adhesive (to remove the pressure if there was any) and closed it after that but the discolouration unfortunately does not go away. When i opened it the battery looked fine there is no bulging.

So now I am thinking of putting a new display but I am worried that the new one will end up like the other.

iPhone 11: iPhones 11 smell like nail polish - What is the real cause?

I wanted to switch from my iPhone 7 to the iPhone 11. I got 3 iPhones in total. Every one smelled strong like nail polish, alcohol and light sweet.

I was pretty sure that this smell came from some damaged battery so I replaced them.

Now the third iPhone still has this slight smell when smelling the charging port

To my questions:

Is this smell really from damaged batteries or from something else (new adhesive, that isn't odorless anymore?)

If 1: What the f**k: 3 iPhones and everyone has an issue?! What are the odds...?! Is there some production issue with some iPhones?

Should I replace this third one, too?

Thank you guys for your help!

iPhone 11: Can I use an iFixit screen with original Touch IC?

Hi, I have been looking into how to get rid of the non-genuine screen message when replacing the 11 and up series. I believe I can do the repair, however, I have found out that you can’t do it with an aftermarket screen, only originals. iFixit screens are probably the closest to the original that you can get so that’s the only reason I’m asking. Does anyone know or has anyone tried?

iPhone 11: Dead Logic Board - Photo Recovery?

Hello,

My iPhone 11 randomly stopped turning on one day with no previous problems. I took it to the Apple Store and they told me the logic board is not responding and it cannot be fixed.

The kicker is - I guess I never backed up my phone and lost over 2 years of photos that I would like to get back. Is it even a possibility to get the photos back? Nothing I try seems to work and I am not skilled enough nor do I have the tools to open the phone up myself. I would prefer to send it somewhere / to someone to retrieve the photos but am open to any suggestions.

iPhone 11: stripped screws on the bottom of the iPhone 11

I have an iPhone 11 which is my daily driver, I disliked the color so I bought a used black housing to swap the internals to the new housing, I started unscrewing one of the screws on the bottom but it instantly became rounded off and stripped, I then started the other one only for that one to break half way out, I don’t know what to do here, I think ill flatten the sides of the half out screw in order to use tweezers to twist it out but with the one that still stuck I think ill use a small drill bit and go in reverse and try to use the drill bit to bite into the screw to get it out, if there’s anything else to try please inform me, I have used the right screw and all the elastic band and glue tricks
