Got an iPhone 11 was not turning on when the customer brought it to me. Opened to phone and found a short on PP_BATT_VCC on the battery connector. Tried using rosin smoke method to find a short but i am unable to. I suspect it is the Tigris chip (u3300).

Any help would be appreciated! :D

It started Monday, when I’d woke up to watch a bit of YouTube and my hone just went black. I was worried so I contacted Apple Support. I followed their instructions and nothing prevailed. Being the frugal person I am, I decided to wait out the day to see if eventually my phone would work. After leaving it on the charger for maybe three hours my phone’s screen had become back visible and was on the recovery mode screen. I restored the phone and went on with my day. After this, the same issues occurred the next day maybe 20 hours later. I went through the same steps and the phone came on after hours of being on the charge. Today, my phone has went black for a third time. I’m trying to figure out if there is anyway to stop this or what the problem is? Let me give a little information on the condition, when the screen goes black the touch is still responsive and I can still get notifications. I know the screen is responsive because I can still turn the flashlight on. It also still charges. Please send help as this is getting aggravating.

It has no water damage and has been dropped many times but with no visible damage. Has not been IOS updated in a year or more. Charging, firmware reset, and any attempts to power on have no effect.

I had put it on assistance to fix the power button, he came fine. 2 months post i accidentally dropped him in a pool and he instantly turned off. Another guy tried to replace the battery and flex cable but didnt worked.
