iPhone 4: Screen fades to black after replacing battery

I replaced the battery in my iPhone 4 using the Ifixit kit. It worked fine for about 2 weeks. Now when I try to use the iPhone the screen shows vertical lines and then fades to black after a minute or so. If I let it sit for long enough it will look fine until I try to use it, then same problem. The phone works, I can receive calls, but can't see the screen.

Is there something about the battery replacement that would cause this, i.e. loose connection etc. I don't know it the phone is worth replacing the screen in terms of money and time.

Thanks,

iPhone 4: Water damage - battery replaced will sync not charge, what to replace?

Did the rice trick on a water submerged phone, changed the battery and phone is working as expected, the phone syncs with Itunes but does not charge. The dock water indicator is of course red, but it syncs, so does that mean that the dock connector is okay and I need a new power management chip or can the dock be sort of working and sync fine and not charge but a new one would make it charge?

iPhone 4: Logic Board is Messed Up

Well I bought an iphone 4 16gb

It had water damage so i did the usual isopropyl alchohol cleanup.

Iphone booted up just fine and everything is working except for the camera and some error with the power button, headphone/volume part.

I did a little research and i found out that the camera problem is because something on the logic board being chipped off while changing the lcd screen. I checked and they were missing.. I dont know much about soldering if you guys can help me with that.. I tried dropping a little bit of the circuit writer pen on those two little spots but no luck with the camera.

Now with the power button and headphone/volume.

The power button only works when it wants to. Very last response time on the power button actually. Also, the phone is always is headphone mode. I tried cleaning the headphone jack..it didnt work.. I restored the phone a couple time, still the same problem.. I even put the logic board in another phone.. Problems were still there. I really need to know what i have to do to get this working. Im willing to learn how to solder just so i can fix it.

iPhone 4: Phone dropped plus water damage. Any ideas?

Hi everyone. First post here. Hope someone can help. OK so I have iPhone 4 and unfortunately didn't have it synced recently before problems.

The phone had been accidentally dropped a couple of times. Then after a while it would only power up whilst connected to a power source. On one such occasion a glass of water had been accidentally knocked over onto phone. After that it stopped working. I opened it up after viewing a few DIY videos and noticed corrosion on logic board and tried using 90-99% isopropyl alcohol as well as changing battery and charging connector. No success.

If someone can guide me as to retrieving data from the NAND I would be very grateful. I am considering buying another logic board and moving NAND to it if helps. I NEED to retrieve data.

PLEASE do not ignore. Someone must have some advice.
