iPhone 6 Plus: home button cable of iPhone 6 and plus is the common?

Hi, dear Ifixit technicist. I found a strange case this morning. One website showed the iPhone 6 replacement home button flex can also be used for iPhone 6 plus. Is it real?

the sizes are different between iPhone 6 and plus, their home butthon can be common to use? It is really strange. Have a look,

http://www.hytparts.com/005154-oem-repla...

Not only this parts, there is another parts as same as it about home button cables.

iPhone 6 Plus: How to fix touch disease?

So recently, i think my phone has obtained the ‘touch disease’. I purchased a new phone screen and it started working again until it would randomly stop responding to touch unless I pressed down on the screen. I found this video on YouTube for a somewhat simple solution by placing adhesive tape over the two IC chips in the motherboard. It worked for a short while until it started to lost the touch again and I would have to gently press down on the phone screen to regain touch (which I believe is not safe, I know). So I go back in to the motherboard and try again with a different brand of tape, wondering if that the problem. While doing this, my finger touched the IC chips. In the video I was watching, it said to be careful as to not to do that. Did that make my problem worse? What do I do now?

iPhone 6 Plus: Lost pictures after iOS failure (no backup)

I am devastated.

After replacing a faulty screen for my iPhone 6 Plus, I attempted to update to the newest iOS 10.3.2 (or something) and my phone just CRASHED. After the "verifying" stage it turned off and never turned back on again. Hard reset was prompting me to restore using iTunes.

After "restore" did NOT work, DFU mode did NOT work (for data recovery), iTunes forced me to fully factory reset.

I had to factory reset THREE TIMES until I got the phone to turn on. Needless to say that all my data is gone.

I had NO backup of my camera roll whatsoever. I had a day-before iCloud device backup, without pictures though.

Question to you, did anybody EVER managed to recover deleted data after factory reset directly from iPhone?

I just tried dr.fone software which found some data, but did NOT found the pictures I was looking for. Do you think I have a chance?

iPhone 6 Plus: Is my Backlight filter blown?

I was working on my phone as it has touch ic disease, and until i got the money to fix it i was placing a little piece of stock paper under the heatsink that fastens agaisnt the sceen connector ribbons(done this before with no problems). The phone was working right before this, I had even fixed the front camera earlier that day, and when i try to turn it on that screen is black. When I plug it into my pc it detects an iphone but iTunes doesnt show the usual iPhone menu. When I turn the phone on I can feel the touch ic area getting warm/hot (not too hot i can hold my finger on it) and windows detects the phone as stated earlier. I tried turning off every light in the room and shining a bright led flashlight on the screen to see if I could see anything and no dice. I know I forgot to disconnect the battery (also just to mention i did try unplugging and reconnecting the batter after the screen would not come on) rookie mistake. Before I buy the repair serivce on ebay (which gives me no refund if ive misdiagnosed the problem) I'd like to confirm with a community of what I consider experts that it would most likely be a backlight filter issue.

Hi community. I posted on here the othwr day about issues when replacing a touch IC then losing the whole phone to shorts.

I thought i would post up what has happened after nearly all repairs i have dome to see if anyone else has had the same problem and may know what it is. I have never got a new batch of chips (due to trying to find a new supplier and buying 'new' but never getting new) so its always my first suspect, but has anyone else had this problwm and it ended up being something else??

(No its not the screen being the issue)

iPhone 6 Plus: Can iPhone cables like the ZeroLemon 10ft. Cable ruin the battery?

I've had both and iPhone 5 and iPhone 6 Plus that the battery went bad and would not hold a charge long anymore after many attempts at draining it and resetting the battery. I don't see how they are just cables.

iPhone 6 Plus: issue after touch ic replacement. "curtains"

ive done numerous touch ic repairs but this is the 1st time im seeing this. yes, i ran the jumper to m1 then insulated it with uv solder mask, and used coins as heat sinks as to not reflow surrounding components. my issue is lines on the screen and cant see apple logo. 1st i tried reballing the meson ic from the phone. when i got the lines i assumed a bad chip and used a new one. still same issue. any ideas what i can check? i already went down the lcd fpc in diode mode with multimeter and compared to known good board. everything seems right. then i pulled meson and turned on the phone still doing the same thing with the chip removed. just looking for ideas as to what i can try next.

iPhone 6 Plus: Blue/green pressure marks after screen replacement

I've just replaced my cracked iPhone 6 plus lcd/digitizer assembly and now there are blue and green marks showing around the edges of the screen. its only particularly noticable when the device is displaying a dark image. the blue green marks are the type you see if you were to push on your screen too hard with your finger and are appearing around where the screws affix the metal backplate to the screen assembly, and a slight green tint in the bottom right corner (also near a screw).

What really gets me though is that these marks only show when the screen is snapped into the phone, if i have the cables connected but the screen out of the phone, the marks vanish. I've already checked around the frame for any irregularities or debris that might be pushing on the back of the assembly and have tried removing or loosening the screws in question, for some of this it helps and for others it remains a problem. I've also tried bending the clips that hold the screen to the phone in various ways to no help. This was never an issue on the old cracked screen nor a functional screen i pulled out of my brothers phone.

I'm sure this isn't worth the 4+ hours I've been fidgeting with it, i was just curious if anyone else has had/fixed any such issue.

Thanks so much, feel free to ask questions if you have them.
