iPhone 6s: 3D Touch on replacement screen

Hello Ifixit! My question is that if your replacement screens have the same 3D Touch feature on them. I always use that feature on my phone and well I think it’s very useful. Another question by the way, also related to the screen, is that what do you think...should I replace my screen because I have like white splotches on it. So like when I open an app like YouTube with its white background I can see them much more than on a dark background. One more thing is that well I don’t think it’s water damage because in Apple website they say it’s more of some foreign thing intruding the LCD. Also what do you think is causing this? Should I replace?

iPhone 6s: Back camera gone after water damage

Got an iPhone 6s with some water damage. Managed to get back everything to working order except for back camera. Since it was missing PP2V85 I removed U3200 which had suffered a short with VccMain.

Unfortunately CAM_EXT_LDO_EN seems to be missing too, although the pin is shiny and undamaged.

Does CAM_EXT_LDO_EN show up only when camera cable is connected or should I just say goodbye to the main camera ?

iPhone 6s: iPhone missing recovery mode, just Apple logo than backlight

Hello, I have a ln unusual problem with iPhone 6s.

It stuck on using and turned off. After trying to turn it on, apple logo appears and then just black screen with backlight on.

When I’m trying to go into recovery mode, it shows just black screen with backlight on.

I tried going into DFU and it success. iTunes sees it and starting to restore, on iPhone appears Apple logo with progress bar, but it won’t start filling and iTunes gets an error 6.

Tried with 2 laptops and 1 pc and 3 usb cables but get the same error.

Tried with 3utools and it starts recovering in DFU, but than it shows an error like “A problem when going from DFU into Recovery mode”.

So I’m guessing that it lost Recovery mode somehow or there is a problem with some components on the motherboard.

Anyone had similar problem?

EDIT: The new information that may be useful is that I tried with another fully charged battery from another working phone and got the same error when restoring, but when I put back that second battery in the working phone, it shows like it’s empty at first, then put it to the charger and the working phone turned on and showed full battery like it was.

iPhone 6s: Why do I have to hard reset my phone to get it to charge?

I bought a phone in pretty bad shape from my friend and it needed a new screen and battery. I got on ebay and ordered a new screen and battery. The old bad battery wasn't that bad but it drained fast and i had to plug it in to the charger and then hold the power and home buttons to get it to hard reboot and then it would charge. I was excited for my new battery for the reason i wouldn't have to do this anymore. The new battery drained at first until i broke it in i guess but i still have to hard reboot it to get it to charge, and sometimes when i just plug it in and not reboot it and unplug it it will still say the phone is charging for a few seconds. Does anybody know a fix to this?

iPhone 6s: iPhone is not responding at all

Hi guys,

i recently bought an iphone 6s 16gb from ebay and the description said that it has power problems (not powering up at all). The phone doesn't have an iCloud lock and it is not blacklisted, so i grab the opportunity to try repairing it.

I received the phone and i tried to turn it on, but it is not responding. I plugged it into the wall charger, but nothing happens, although i leave it there for over an hour.

I plugged it to my Mac but nothing happens again and iTunes doesn't recognize it.

I also plugged to a windows pc, but nothing happens again.

I tried to hard reset it, but no respond again.

I also tried to put it in DFU mode, but nothing happened.

'The only sign is that it gets hot when i plugged it to the wall charger.

Do you have any idea, what the problem is?

Is there any way to find out if my logic board is damaged?

Is there any possibility that a battery replacement will short out the problem?

Thanks in advance.

iPhone 6s: iPhone 6s stuck on bootloop after screen replacement (With Pictures)

I have an Iphone 6s stuck on a boot loop after i changed the screen, everything was done right as I've checked my work over multiple times. The phone turns on and stays on the boot screen for about 5 minutes and shuts down and starts all over again. One thing to consider is that the phone does not have the metal plate covering the screen/camera flex cables, and it does not have the plate covering the battery flex. Could this be an issue with my camera flex? or perhaps the motherboard?, any input is appreciated.

I have attached some pictures here

Edit: The phone is recognized by itunes and enters the recovery mode screen. I don't want to update the phone but i dont mind restoring. Weird thing to note is that whenever i reset my phone (Home Button + Lock Button) the screen does a weird glitch and turns purple then shuts off.
