iPhone 7: How can I fix Error 56?

Hello,

My iphone was stuck in recovery mode while updating on the itunes to ios 11.03 , it just stops when apple logo appears with 90 % and a sign is appearing that error 56 is occuring .

how can i solve the problem ? i tried more than 4 repairing stores and no one is knowing how to solve my problem !!

iPhone 7: Headphones not working after screen replacement

I have changed screen on an iPhone 7. I don’t know if it’s after the repair och after the drop, but now headphones not working at all, meanwhile charging does.

I have tried:

Reball sound IC

New dock connector

Update

Restore

Any suggestions? Can’t find anything on the cyberspace about this.

Hi,

I have an iPhone 7 which is blocking in bootloop. I tried to open it, check if connectors are good, but the flex of the charger port seems to be a little bit bent. But, when I plug it on my pc, the phone start but same thing, he starts and restarts endlessly (white screen with Apple Logo and black screen etc ..). But, the PC doesn't recognize the iPhone, the phone is not recognized by iTunes or Dr. Fone so I can't restore it.

Please if you have any idea, let me know !

Hello there, I got a dead iPhone 7, so I tested the battery, and the only “weird” thing.. is that the battery is rated 3.8v… and on this one.. im having a reading of 4.1V…. maybe this overpowered issue is preventing the iPhone to turn on???

Hi there

I hope you all are doing well

I have an iphone 7 and it is stuck on Apple logo and after a while it gets rebooted. Because I have a frends who has mobile service store so I asked him to give me a new iPhone 7 LCD and new battery.

I tested by new things but I have still the same problem. I cannot recovery the phone because It does not go forward after Apple logo.

Anyone had the same issue or any tips?

I really appreciate any sorts of help :)

iPhone 7: iPhone 7 LCD won’t sit flush in rear case after screen placement

i recently did a screen replacement on my iPhone 7 Product Red. the replacement went fine but the screen won’t sit flush in the housing on the bottom right corner. i contacted my canadian friend who repairs phones and he said it’s the small gray piece on the back of the screen- it’s hitting the battery bracket- so he said to slightly trim the bracket or tape the gray piece back- anyone else experience this problem?? i’ve tried what he said but it still sticks up in the right corner. please let me know a fix- i reinstalled the orignal apple screen and it works fine. i buy my screens from injuredgadgets.com by the way. thanks.

I'm not dissing on anyone or anything. I am trying to figure this out because I know I can have bad luck in everyday life, but really never in parts or repair. As of late, it seems like I'm having issues with iFixit parts. The main problem is an iPhone 7 that I am having problems with. Originally I put a new screen on it in December I believe. It was fine until about 2 weeks ago where the owner reported the left side of the screen stopped working to the point that it went black with a line being the only thing visible. There is no damage that can be seen or anything. It had a tempered glass and if there was damage caused by the owner, I would think it would of shown on that too. No problem. I order a aftermarket screen assembly, do a warranty claim on the old screen and install the new one I installed. The newer screen looked fine and worked will. However that didn't last long. Before putting it back together, I let it sit for 5 minutes or so. That is when it started to show a flickering white ring around the edge of the screen. It went away after using the phone for a bit but soon enough it would come back. Well maybe it was defective. So I did a warranty claim on both screens. I got the new ones. This is where I am wondering what is going on. I tried the first of the newer screens. All seemed well. I let it sit for like 30 seconds and that is when a white rectangular section on the middle of the screen starts appearing. The more it sit, it comes up fully. There is no way I thought. I then try to use the second of the the two that I was sent. Same story though but different result. Everything was fine. Let it sit and now it shows the middle rectangular section with spilt regulars going up and down and the flickering white ring around the edges from before. In all of these attempts I disconnected, clean off the connectors in how iFixit recommended me before, then reconnected and put the bracket to be sure they weren't going lose or anything. But the results would be the same. I haven't denied it couldn't be the phone. But I asked a friend to let me use their iPhone 7 to try their screen. It is the original Apple screen and even after letting it sit for awhile, it all worked fine. So that is kinda telling me that it's not the phone and more then likely the screens. I know they aren't the choice version but I wouldn't expect that from here even for cheaper versions. Should I go ahead and try the choice version and see what happens or is someone else having problems and I'm just lost in what to do?

My screen randomly started getting these black and colored lines across it... It started on right side and slowly spreading across the screen throughout the day. My screen has been cracked for more than a few months now. But the screen issue just started.. The touch screen doesn't work where the lines are but works where they aren't on left.

I have to carry my work cell IPhone 5S and personal cell I phone 7. I am looking for one head set that could pair to both so I can answer which ever is ringing. I understand I will not be able to talk on both phones at the same time with one head set. I am trying to find something so I don't have to keep switching headsets or ear piece for whichever phone I am using.

iPhone 7: digitizer only works when touching frame

Hello, I have fixed hundreds of phones and after replacing the first time Screen on and Iphone 7, I noticed the digitizer works great but you have to be holding the phone. If you put the phone down and try to use the digitizer, it will not work.

If I have the phone on a table and touch the metal frame it will work but only touching the glass the digitizer doesn’t respond.

I a guessing it is a ground issue, but was wondering if anyone else has a solution.

So, I have a friends iPhone 7 they gave up on (Actually it was their moms first). Despite all the problems it has it still looks pretty clean and it let me reset it. Looks like someone changed the screen, even the buttons still work... it is missing a screw for the battery cover.. would that cause the bootloop even after reset? Should I just Junk it? lol, Still fixable ?

hi, i have an iPhone 7 that is boot looping the i checked for short on on power lines no short but when i connect power supply as normal no amps drops but i when i turn it on apple logo appears and amps start droping up to 1.9 and 2.01 which i think it's not normal i seen previously the amps were not going more than 1.4 or 1.6 is this means i have a short or something else is going wrong

I work at repair shop in belgium and i have A strange problem that i accure ,

Today A client came in our store and asks me about a problem with audio lightning earbuds, when he plugs it in the phone it just keeps playing the sound trough speaker.

I gave him a new one and it worked ,

Now i was trying to use it with my phone and it did not work either i tried the one on reserves also the same problem...

I tried the originals at home and also did not work anymore, but when i put them in an iphone 5 its working fine...

I try to remove the dust inside,

Reset settings

Updates ios to 11.1.x and still not working..

I plug it to charge and all works fine..

Now i am the one that feels pretty desperated since my client came in our store

Does anyone know what i can do , before replacing my dock connector..

iPhone 7: Mic and Receiver not functioning properly - lots of issues

Device is an iPhone 7 running iOS 11.1.

Things started when calls would all of a sudden start to break up, then whenever I try to make a call or receive one the call screen would freeze up and the other party doesn’t hear anything.

I need to close the call screen like you would close an app, so now I can’t make a call.

I’ve noticed that basically any app or service that uses the mic or receiver isn’t working properly:

Siri – doesn’t respond to voice
Dictating on the keyboard – fails as well
Listening to anything on the receiver doesn’t work – for example a voice message on WhatsApp
Voice Memo app – gets stuck as well.
And so on…..
The speaker works as usual though.

I took it to a lab and he said there’s a notorious issue with the iPhone 7’s audio chip and it’s probably it

What do you think?

iPhone 7: Will my water damaged iPhone 7 still work?

I water damaged my iPhone 7 and then my brother plugged it in to charge while i was in college as he didn't know it was water damaged. So, I sent it to a apple store in London as there are no official apple stores in Pakistan. They repaired it for 150£ and I will get it back by tomorrow, but do you think I should still use it or should I sell it? I had only used it for 2 months. Do you think it will work like it did before? Please help x

Hey hello. I replaced my iPhone 7 display with a new one... and when I started the phone everything was working totally fine for 15 days. But after 15 days a message popped up—"TOUCH ID CANNOT BE USED ON THIS PHONE"—and assistive touch was turned on automatically. What should I do now? Should I replace the home button?
