iPhone X: Will you use this China made iPhone X LCD screen replacement?

The iPhone X use the OLED screen which leads to it is expensive to repair the broken screen. Now the Chinese factory has made out the LCD screen for the iPhone X, the price is cheap. But the screen function is not as good as the OEM, will you choose this cheap aftermarket screen or the expensive OEM screen?
iPhone X: Unable to activate after restore

The phone was ran over by a semi, and would freeze whenever you would try to unlock it with a passcode or face id. I have restored the phone to iOS 12.1 and now it says “Unable to reach activation server”. The phone does recognize the sim, and shows service, it just won’t activate. I have tried activating through iTunes, with no luck. 3uTools gets stuck for a few minutes on “Obtaining activation data”, then it says that it failed to activate. It is an AT&T phone, and we have already tried a new sim card. After swapping the boards out with another phone I have figured out that it is board level. What could be causing this in particular? I cannot see any damage to the board, however with the board being stacked, there could be damage that is not seen. Any help is appreciated.

Hey guys, have a question, my iPhone X gets warm when using snapchat up to 92 degrees Fahrenheit, but it also gets up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit when using safari or facebook. Texting and phones calls can also increase the temp but not as much only upto 84 degrees.

It generally idles a degree or two more then room temp and charging it can warm up to even when not in use.

Already done all of the resetting and setup as new.

Also dont believe its a hardware issue as this my second X, and also happens on my spare iPhone 7....

If any of you have a thermometer to check the temp that would be awesome.

iPhone X: Why is my iPhone starting to heat up when I plug in a new battery?

Hi all, I have a problem with my IPhone X. It wouldn't turn on after overheating. This happened after I tried a few power adapters plugging in and out to test the plugs/cables (not clever). So it overheated - became extremely hot and I struggled to hold it then I put it out in cold weather and it cooled down and would not turn on. So I decided to change the battery, I have experience in taking phones apart so it wasn't an issue. I stuck in the battery and when I reconnected one of the battery plugs it immediately started to reheat on the right by the power button components - it seems that the phone isn't dead entirely. Would it be worth for me to replace the power plug ( charging port) or anything else?

I will leave it unplugged for now as I know it is a hazard. Thank you!

iPhone X: Why is the phone in a boot loop after screen replacement?

Hi all - I've changed the screen on a friends iPhone x and it is now stuck in a boot loop. I have changed iPhone X screens probably. 20 + times and never had this issue and I don't think that I damaged anything this time round either.

Initially it would only boot loop whilst on charge and would do nothing at all when not plugged in so I thought perhaps it had to do with power delivery so I changed the battery too. Now it still boot loops, but both whilst plugged in and not plugged in.

I've tried hard resetting it on the phone itself and it didn't do anything. My PC. also won't recognise it when I plug it in via USB so I can't do anything in iTunes. Any ideas? Please help!

I have an iPhone X I just purchased on ebay, took a gamble with one that the guy replaced a screen on, the new screen works after a hard reboot, but when I press the sleep button and turn the screen off, pressing it again makes the screen stay off, I can tell because the screen backlight turns on (the replacement panel was an lcd) but no content is on the screen, and the vibration motor works. I tried reinstalling the original screen with I think the same error, but the original screen is broken so I'm not sure if it was doing the same or not.

If I wait a short time before pressing the sleep button to turn on the display though it does turn on properly, idk why

iPhone X: No WiFi, Bluetooth or GPS After Shell Replacement

I replaced the shell and screen on this iPhone X, as the whole phone was just cracked glass everywhere. In the past, when I just replaced the screen, everything worked as it should. The moment I replaced the shell, the phone has weak signals. The GPS gives a location around a mile radius, then freezes, bluetooth connects when very close to the device then disconnects randomly, WiFi connects when very close to the router, then disconnects, and the LTE stays connected but has very low signal and occasionally disconnects. I got the shell off of FixEZ, and it was one with the little parts already installed. I do know, during the process of fixing it, I did lose a little piece of metal shaped like a ring with a little line coming out. It was like a washer and it was in the top left corner if I remember correctly. Not sure if that has anything to do with it, but it's a guess. Also I tried to check the bluetooth antenna that is near the taptic engine and it did look like it could get loose easily as well as I might've put the wrong screws to hold the plates that go on top of it. Not sure what it is so any help would be amazing! Thanks!
