iPhone X: How to remove display w/ stuck pentalobe screw?

https://guide-images.cdn.ifixit.com/igi/...

I'm in the process of doing a screen replacement for a iphone x but when I separated the display from the phone body, it seems the frame of the display screen remained attached the the phone body.

Does anyone know how I can remove the frame?

Also one of the small pentalobe screws is stripped and I am unable to remove using all the various DIY techniques (super glue, rubber band).

iPhone X: Is it possible to fix a seawater damaged iPhone?

My iphone Xr fell in the sea 5 days ago for no more than 5 seconds. It was first working just fine and my biggest error was to charge the phone. It later started bugging and i put it in rice for 4 days. After getting it out and charging it, the phone is stuck in a bootloop : the apple logo keeps coming and going non-stop. I checked the sim card tray for any sign of water damage but there is no red line. I don't need to save any data as I'm aready saving my pictures on Google photo and I don't expect it to work as fine as it used to, but I can't afford getting a new phone. What should I do ? Is there any chance of getting my phone back?

iPhone X: Screen burn suddenly appeared on refurb. Scam?

Hi I bought a refurbed iPhone X on ebay 2 weeks ago. Very good condition cosmetically. Battery 85%. No face ID or True Tone.

The display looked great. I didn’t use the phone for a few days and let it run flat. When I used the phone again it had really severe screen burn. I can ready the labels of the ghosted home screen apps.

How could the screen burn have happened to severely and so quickly? Did the seller somehow do a temporary fix when they sold?

Cheers

Here's a photo of the ghosting. I don't see how I could have missed that in the first 2 weeks!

iPhone X: iPhone X occasionally loses carrier/cellular connection

Hello, recently I noticed that my iPhone X was always low on battery power (although battery health showed 87%). This led me to finding out that my iPhone X occasionally loses cellular connection and reconnects back. This happens quite a few times during the day so the battery drainage was huge. Then the connection drops started to become more frequent enough so that it was almost impossible to surf the web or use any app while on cellar connection. Sometimes when I was talking on the phone, the connection was lost, so the phone was giving “Call Failed” error and a loud noise could be heard from the speaker. I recently had my battery changed and the repair shop attempted to fix the issue (they thought it was an antenna issue) but the problem still remains. I have tried updating the iOS, resetting the network setting and I even had a complete factory reset, still hasn’t been fixed. Does anyone know how to fix this?

iPhone X: Is it easy to replace display-pmu of iPhone X?

Hello.

My iPhone X keeps rebooting randomly, 3-4 times a day and it takes long time to work normally again. After investigating panic-full logs, I found this message:

Looks like there’s a problem with the display PMU.

iPhone X: Rebooting loop and battery does not increase

So earlier today my phone would not power on, Not even the dead battery screen would not show so i tried force restarting but it did not work so i plugged it in and it put the apple logo in a loop so the apple logo would go on for a couple seconds and would power off again and would do the same thing over an over and it turns on after 3 hours and then goes back to the loop and the first time it turned on it would say its plugged in and it would not increase my battery. So i decided to force restart it and it would not work i’m gonna try to use reiboot when my MacBook comes in the mail if there is any other way i could get it fixed, if that does not work please let me know have good day :)

iPhone X: iPhone X not powering on after a bttery replacement.

I just replaced an Iphone X battery. Said it wasn’t charging originally. Figured it was a battery issue. Just got an ifixit battery for the iphone X. When I power the phone on it still says it has no charge and gives the image of the cord with the empty battery. Wireless charging doesn’t seem to work either although just breifly tried it. Could this be an issue where the battery isnt connecting to the board correctly? Or did I just happen to get a faulty battery. Please let me know. Thanks
