iPhone XR: iPhone XR stuck in Boot Loop - anyway to recover data?

Hello,

I have an iPhone XR that is stuck in a boot loop. It happened after attempting to back-up the phone using iTunes (the phone’s memory is full), and I got a message that said that there was an error during the backup. I unplugged the phone and all the apps were stuck and wouldn’t open, so I tried restarting the phone. It has been stuck in a boot loop since, when it turns on I just see an Apple logo, and sometimes it blinks. Force restarting doesn’t help, it just keeps showing the Apple logo after it turns off.

I also tried to bring the phone to “recovery mode” and I see an option on iTunes that prompts me to either update or restore, but after the update downloads it tells me that it couldn’t update because the “firmware is not compatible”. I read about DFU recovery mode, but it seems like that would do a full restore (losing data).

After some research I found some programs like: Fonelab, iMyFone D-back, Dr.fone, and Tuneskit. There is a trial option, but I think I will have to pay to use it, which I’m willing to do, but I want to make sure it will work.

Does anyone have any experience with these programs, or something similar? Or is there any other way to try and restore the iPhone’s OS without losing data? Any help would be greatly appreciated, as there’s a lot of data that I’d hate to lose…

The Iphone fell on the ground and some minutes later the network signal was lost. When you flash it, the network signal re-appears but it's lost shortly

I bought an iPhone XR from someone second hand and its fully paid off and i want to unlock it. I called the carrier of the phone (xfinity) and they said the original owner would have to call to get it unlocked. Is there anything I can do?

Good afternoon. I sent my XR away to have the lower microphone fixed. From what I understand it’s the same part as the charging dock. my reason for sending it for repair was that people couldn’t hear my on cellular calls. But occasionally they could. It arrived back from the repair shop. But I still have the same problem even with a new part fitted. The lower microphone does work on sound recording and Whats app and messager calls. It also works on front and rear video footage. Would anyone know what the issue is please. Thanks

I recently replaced the battery on a Iphone XR ive had laying around since 3 months back with a as old third part battery

took a good while to reset it as it kept bootlooping, but as i eventually reset it and set it up the battery health is at 0%, charger does not go up from 1% and says "0% left"

did i &&^& something up or is it fixable?

So the digitizer and lcd screen connector cables appear out of order. I need them swapped the screen size is correct everything looks right exp the connector. I am hesitant to fold the cables which may cause other problems. Anyone know whats going on here?

iPhone XR: Face ID (TrueDepth) stops working after screen replacement, twice

Hi,

Have been repairing iPhones for the quite a while now.

I recently repaired 2 XRs and have issues with FaceID not working where settings says there's an issue with the TrueDepth camera and Portrait mode with the front camera tells to you move further away.

Both times were very similar, first time I thought it maybe I have damaged the flex cable in the process of transferring the ear speaker flex but after this 2nd time in nearly the exact same process of how it stops working. I have some theories and suspect something else is going on and it may be done intentionally by Apple, so I want to know if anyone else here had similar experiences/

Both times, Face ID had no error message after installing new screen, the moment I seal the phone in and turn off airplane mode and the phone connects to the internet. Face ID breaks. now I'm not 100% sure its thatat this stage given I only get one chance to test this per phone. I have double checked all Face ID component connections to the logic board.

Even turning airplane mode on at this point won't fix it. My theory is that the phone is doing some checks when its connected to the internet and disables face id on purpose, what it's checking I have yet to find out.

The lower speaker has slowly been losing volume, and now it doesn’t work at all. I tried replacing the speaker itself but that didn’t work. How can I know if the replacement part is faulty, or if it’s something else?

iPhone XR: Phone overheating after connecting battery replacement

I followed the instructions to replace the battery for a iPhone XR. The phone wouldn't turn on anymore even when charging for a long time so I suspected it was the battery.

When I connect the new battery to the board the phone is making a buzzing noise and the components near the connector are getting hot. When I connect the old battery nothing happens.

Could it be another issue then the old battery which caused the phone to not turn on anymore? Maybe the old battery didn't charge anymore because if this and now when I connect the new battery everything is powered again and the real issues surfaces?

Hi, I purchased the iFixit MAKO driver set. I am trying to replace the earphone speaker on an iPhone XR. The Y000 bit is ok for 3 out of 4 screws that hold the assembly but the smallest screw does not seem to have a proper bit for in this set ? Any hints ?
