iPhone XS Max: Can I switch my battery & screen without switching the motherboard?

This sounds stupid to ask but I just wanted to make sure but I just wanted to make sure. I wanted to transfer my battery and screen from an iPhone XS max that 64gb that's IC locked (battery and frame are good) to a XS max that is 25gb version that isn't ic locked but the screen has a green line on it and the battery is bad. Would the storage version impact size and such. Thank you kindly for any assistance.

I recently replaced my broken screen on my iPhone XS Max with an IFixIt LCD screen. Since my phone screen was completely unresponsive to touch before replacing it, i wasn’t able to shut my phone down before repairing the screen. I just unplugged the battery connector and went on with the procedure. Now, randomly, my phone screen will go black while i’m using it but the phone is still on. All it takes to fix it temporarily is to turn the phone off and on. Now, is it because I unplugged the battery connector during the repair without shutting the phone down or is it a faulty screen? Please Help!!!!!

My phone is having a problem with face ID it said move little lower and it is very frustrating but my proximity sensor, ambient ligth, front speakers and microphone is still working. I don’t think the flood illuminator , infrared camera and dot projector is not working.But when I use protrait mode in front camera it doesn’t change the stage ligth, stage ligth mono others also and when i use animoji it still works. How do i know my known my flood illuminator, infrared camera and dot projector is not working? If I change the flood iluminator will it work? And after trying to add face ID It said face ID is not available try setting up face ID later and I do not see the infrared light coming out from the flood illuminator.

The plan is removing the motherboard from my broken iphone xs max and placing it in a brand new iphone xs max. now my question is , once that is done will all my data from my old phone show up in the new phone one that swap is done ?

Hey, i recently brought an iPhone XS max and all of a sudden it stopped getting service, I don’t remember ever getting it wet but the water indicator has turned red. Everything is working perfectly and it even reads the sim card and what carrier it is etc but under settings

So with my iPhone when plugged in to charge and turn off the screen, about 20-30 seconds later it won't be able to turn on anymore, force me to unplug the charger to make it power on and show apple logo, even plugging in lightning to 3.5mm adapter will make it suddenly shutdown. Does anyone here know if this panic full is related to hardware or software failure?

Solved: I replaced the charging port and it actually fixed that problem

iPhone XS Max: After battery replacement, iPhone refuses to charge when turned on

I have an iPhone XS max on which I did the battery replacement and the charging port replacement.

When the phone is on, the phone detects a cable is plugged in or it has been placed on the wireless charger, the charging symbol can be seen; but battery continues to drain.

I originally thought this was a battery issue, so i ordered yet another replacement battery.

The only way around it, I've found, is to place the phone on a wireless charger and then turn the phone off.

Is there a software lock on charging aftermarket batteries? Possible snafu during replacement of parts?

Any help would be appreciated. I live in a country with no Apple stores and the cost of having someone else look at the problem is too prohibitive.

I no longer have access to the original battery, in case this requires switching out battery circuitry.

iPhone XS Max: Touch partially works (Only when swiping horizonally)

An iPhone XS Max's touch screen only works when swiping horizontally and only the middle of the screen work, it can only slide / dismiss notifications and slide the SOS emergency call slider, while tapping and sliding up and down sometimes (very rarely) works. Swiping on the higher and lower portion of the screen does not work.

The owner forgot what happend when the touch issue manifested, they simply upgraded to a new phone and it was kept in storage till now. The owner simply wants the data to be recovered, especially the photos.

What is the possible issue and what are their options?

After I replaced the screen and got the data moved with a programer so i don't get the "non genuin notification" The lock screen features won't work after two weeks like the flash and camera and also sometimes the screen starts to touch randomly allover the screen.

And i cant find any video or guide on how to replace just the mute switch cable without replacing the wireless charging coil, i've seen a video where someone solders the cable to the coil on an iphone x, on that phone there is a 3 pin cable that needs to be soldered but on the XS Max coil i cant see any 3 pin connector.

iPhone XS Max: iPhone Xs Max original touchscreen does not work

I have an iPhone XS Max that has never been repaired before. The problem was caused by a shorted capacitor at the PP_2V63_Nand.

After repair, the phone powers up but Original touchscreen not working. We put the original TS on another phone and it's fine.
The phone works well with a China display.

All the reading on J5800 is good using diode mode.
I have also replaced U5600 but still the same problem.
All related caps around U5600 is ok and not shorting.
U2900 reballing and on capacitor C2917 there is 1.1V
All power is present on the J5800 connector

Can anyone help please? Thanks
