I have had the same (or similar) problem with two different extended batteries:

The batteries seemed to not take charge, whena charge. When plugged into the charger I could runcharger, the phone would run, and a flash appearedwould appear in the battery icon buticon—but the charge percentage didn't rise above 0%. If I changed to an other batteryanother battery, it would work normally.

Well today I found the solution ([http://www.askmefast.com/Battery_on_samsung_galaxy_s2_wont_charge_anymore-qna1239813.html|here])

Solution:

* Turn the phone ofoff.
* Remove the batterybattery.
* Wait 10 secondsseconds.
* Plug in the chargercharger.
* Insert the batterybattery.
* Turn on the phonephone.

I now have two working batteries :-) I think that the circuit in the battery that protects it from over-overcharging and undercharging needs a reset.
