Act fast

* Remove sim card and battery
* Rinse well under the tap, use running water
* put it in a hot, dry place. I have used my oven, set it at 50 Celcius, and leave the door open. Leave it there for several hours. 

If you are lucky this can save your phone. If not you need to open it up and clean it up. And even then it might not work.
