@beanman , Mr. Bean, Find below links to a couple disassembly video's to get you access to the screens ribbon cable to see if damaged or connector needs cleaned and reseated perhaps. You can judge from the video whether you would like to attempt the repair. If not have a good computer repair shop have a look, diagnose and estimate repair. Good luck.
