Did you scan your car prior to installing the MAF to make sure that was the actual problem? Or is it was a mechanic did you see the print out? Then after installing the part, did you clear the codes, test drive and check to see if new or same codes came back?

MAF sensors are very fragile, and can be easily damaged during install by being rougher than necessary.
