How long will my iPhone 5c camera take to clear up?

So i accidently dropped my iphone 5c in the toilet along with my phone case on it. It got wet alot but i managed to pull it out before it got damaged even worse. So i wiped it off with whatever i could find and left it alone for a while. Thinking the phone was usable still, i was playing a game on my phone in my bedroom for a few hours before it froze and then shut off. Thinking my battery had died, i turned it on again to see if it needed charging, but all i seen was the phone rebooting itself. It kept showing the apple logo and turning off and on over and over. I then sent it to a repair shop and in under 5 hours, i got my phone working again but the problem now is that my iphone front camera is foggy and not taking clear pictures. The back camera takes photos just fine but i really wanna use my front camera more to take photos or selfies now i am just upset and i don’t know how to fix it myself. Will it dry out on its own ?
this ruined my life and i don’t know what to do. The person that fixed my phone said he couldn’t dry out my camera..
