Phone display stopped working 5-8 hours after successful repair.

After successfully replacing the LCD display, I left the phone running for a while and I smelled some burning later. I found the small SMD component to the left of the display connector smoking and it fell off. I would like to know whether it is a resistor, capacitor or fuse of sorts to know what I have to replace it with. The rest of the phone seems to be still working.
It is a Huawei Y9 2019 to be more specific of the device model.
