psp 2000 green light black screen

i’ve dealt with enough bricked psp’s to what one looks like but this one i’m thinking isn’t bricked because the green light comes on and stays on but the screen is black and the memory stick doesn’t doesn’t access either.  i tried a pandora battery and magic memory stick but nothing happened at all.  i know the magic memory stick works cause i tried it in my 1000 model psp so i’m stumped as to what is wrong with it
