I don’t know if you still need this but I just found a fix for it. I had this problem myself for many months and I was able to sort it out today.

''FYI, when I followed these instructions I had my headphones unplugged from the DAC. I don’t think it matters, but I’ll say it just in case.''

* First of all, you have to uninstall Steelseries Engine/Steelseries GG (whichever one you have installed)
* You then have to install this specific version of the SSE (3.13.4). I’ll give you a direct link (from SteelSeries themselves), if you don’t trust it you can easily look it up yourself, just be sure to install the right one as it won’t work otherwise[br]
++https://engine.steelseriescdn.com/SteelSeriesEngine3.13.4Setup.exe++
* Now that you’ve installed it, open it and unplug your DAC from your PC and plug it back in while pressing both the button and the wheel. If you do it correctly a message should pop up saying there’s a critical firmware update available. Do the update, after that your DAC should be as good as new.

Hope this could help you :D
