According to the [link|https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1150/B85M-E/E9866_B85M-E_User_Manual.pdf|technical specs from Asus|new_window=true], this board does support up to 32GB of memory, however I did notice that it does not support DDR4. Only DDR3.

These two standards are not physically compatible since the number of pins as well as the size of the slots on the board differ slightly.
