What logic board component is this?

텍스트:

I am currently trying to resurrect a relatively expensive hair straightener. It is a Croc Infrared Titanium Ceramic 1.5-inch Flat Iron. Upon disassembly of the logic board, I did find an obvious burned out component. It does look like a resistor, but does not quite fit the pattern. It is 9.6mm in length, which would make it 1/2 watt. The part that does not look like a resistor are the ring markings. From what is left it looks like:
Black
Grey
third ring not clearly identifiable due to damage
Black
In the normal resistor world, the third ring would be the multiplier, the fourth the tolerance. Black is not an option for that. So anybody have an idea what I got here? Anybody have a flat iron apart to let me know what component I am looking at? I did try to find any schematic or diagram without success. Thanks for the help.
'''UPDATE'''
Any chance this could be a capacitor? I do know that some of them use ring markings as well.
'''Update''' Hope this is a better picture.
