Hey, Rising Star! I have this issue too. My guess is that it is due to the flimsy-ass screen assembly. With use (opening and closing of the laptop), the assembly will eventually bend and warp (visible on my Razer Blade), possibly shorting the logo light or damaging it in some way. This is just a speculation, so take what I say with a grain of salt. Speaking of repair, you could replace the whole display assembly, or possibly remove the bezel of the display and do some work internally. Looking at my laptop, removing the bezel of the display would be the easiest entryway into the display.
