Why my laptop is overheating while playing low graphics?

Hi,

I have this laptop for 2years, I’ve been playing mid to high graphics for almost a year and now my laptop is overheating while playing low graphics games. I did some research how to clean the fans and turned off unwanted software and update my drives (already did them still same results) now ***I’m thinking because of my thermal paste***.
