If the right side of your Beats Solo 2 headphones is not working, here are some troubleshooting steps to diagnose and possibly fix the issue:

1. Check the Audio Source & Balance Settings

Try another device: Plug the headphones into a different phone, laptop, or tablet to rule out a device-specific issue.

Balance settings: On Windows, go to Sound settings > Device properties > Balance and ensure the right channel isn't muted. On Mac, go to System Preferences > Sound > Output and check the balance.

2. Inspect the Cable (For Wired Version)

If you have the wired version, try another AUX cable (if detachable) to check if the issue is with the cable.

Inspect the cable jack and headphone port for dust, debris, or bent connectors.

3. Check for Bluetooth Issues (For Wireless Version)

If using Bluetooth, disconnect and reconnect the headphones.

Reset your Beats:

Hold the power button + volume down button for 10 seconds until the LED blinks.

4. Test Mono Mode (For Wireless Version)

Try enabling Mono Audio Mode on your phone (in Accessibility settings) to check if the right side produces sound.

5. Physical Inspection

Check if the right earcup speaker is loose or damaged.

Wiggle the hinge area—sometimes, a broken internal wire can cause this issue.

6. Try a Factory Reset (Wireless Only)

Hold the power button for 10 seconds until the LED flashes.

7. Internal Wiring Issue (For DIY Repairs)

If you're comfortable with disassembly, open the right earcup and check for loose or broken wires. Many Solo 2 models have fragile internal wiring.

Re-solder or reconnect any detached wires if needed.

8. Contact Apple/Beats Support

If under warranty, Apple may offer repairs or replacements.
