about my netbook speed
my acer a0751h is running really slow and is taking along time to load, so how can i make my nebook run faster.

The simple answer is to back up your files and then reset it to factory and then put the files back on it and reinstall the programs that you need.

you will get an HUGE improvement if you replace its internal hard drive with a solid state disk (SSD).
I installed a Trascend 64 Gigabyte SSD disk on mine and I can tell you that, with a fresh install of windows XP, it boots in less than 6 seconds.
Anyway you will see a good improvement (that does not require you to reinstall the whole operating system) you can upgrade its ram to 2 Gigabytes. (it is the maximum supported: you can't go beyond this limit with this pc)
Try it. you won't be disappointed at all.

I needed more disk space and could not justify the cost of a large SSD although it would be ideal.I bought a Seagate hybrid 500gb which has a small SSD combined with a normal hard drive it sped it up too. As i've installed window8 since I cant compare boot speeds .

There are definitely windows 7 drivers for A0751H i got them from the Acer support page.
Widows 8 had no graphics driver and defaults to 1024x768 but i was able to use the windows 7 one from Acer.
The trick was to right click the driver setup and select compatibility mode and windows 7 .
Its only the setup part that checks the OS version. The driver works fine!
The same applies to the trackpad.
Note when I upgraded to 8.1 there was a proper Microsoft version for the video card installed.
Another advantage of using a new drive as mentioned above is that your old one is preserved if it all goes pear shaped!
Windows 8 on an acer a0751h? I wasn't able to find the graphics drivers for windows 7 and now they have made drivers available for windows 8?
Am I missing something?
