Bottom Element doesn't heat up

Service # 6058-26-001

I've searched for the service/repair manual without success. Oster no longer supports the product or sells replacement parts, however I wouldn't think the elements would differ that greatly from model to model, or brand to brand. I just don't want to end up tearing it apart only to find out that it wasn't needed and I obviously don't want to take it to a repair shop and have someone else do it.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
