My phone is going crazy! help!

I recently shattered the screen of my black i-phone 4s, and instead of paying to get a new one i found a store that would replace the screen. I just got it back and now my phone wont allow me to send text, make calls, access the internet, use siri. ALSO my phone will turn its self off and then back on EVERY 2 minutes(appox). The man said that since he did not have my password i would have to calibrate the screen myself but i didnt realize it would cause these problems(plus i dont know how to calibrate my screen.) Please help my phone is usless right now and im afraid it may be permanetly destroyed.

So I took it back to the guy today, and he said that when I originally dropped it, it dislodged some sort of wire or antenna inside the phone, and that is why I can’t call, text, etc. That confuses me though because it was working just fine after I dropped it, and I only started having problems when the new screen was put on. But he says it is not repairable and that I need a new phone.(which is kinda lame because i just paid him $100 to put a new screen on my now useless phone) I’m going to take it too the apple store tomorrow and hopefully it is under warranty! I definitely cannot afford to pay for a brand new one. Also one of my friends told me that because I got the screen fixed by a company that wasn’t apple, that it breaks the contract? Is this true? Is there a way for them to find this out?

Your best bet would be to take the phone back to the person who repaired it and ask him to sort it out for you, as he would know what problems he faced when replacing the screen. Hope this helped. Write back on what happened. Good luck.

You might be able to get away with putting it in DFU mode and restoring to the latest iOS.

If not take it back to the man with no password and ask him about it.

Sounds like he broke off the antenna connector when he replaced the screen. His fault, not yours! You cant callibrate the touch screen. And no you password has nothing to do with this. Give your phone to a shop that does micro-soldering. They can fix the antenna for about 50 dollars.

Yes your broke your warranty because it has a new screen.

ALL SCREEN A FAKE BECAUSE APPLE DOESN'T SELL PARTS.

As soon as they check the connectors they will know...
