Repaired display stopped working after a small drop, causes?

I repaired my 4s screen a couple weeks ago from a cracked screen, and everything was working fine. The other day, I dropped it from a few feet and then the display and touchscreen stopped working. The phone still turns on and I can hear it vibrating and it rings when I get calls. Do you think it could be as simple as a connector coming undone,or will I have to order a new display assembly? Also, I may be wrong, but I think the microphone may have stopped working too--when I activate Siri, it makes the end noise before I can say anything.

what probably happened was that the way it landed because IPhones have sensitive spots and maybe it fell on one of them.

Yes, check and carefully re-seat the connectors, reseat all of them to see if you can get Siri working too.

I would also try a hard reset first.

The connector has come dislodged from the board. Some ofd the after market parts don't snap down really good and they do not have the foam pads that the other connections do. This leaves a little room between the connector and the emi shield allowing the connector to pop loose. I started installing a foam shim on top of the new lcd/ digitizer connections and have not had this issue since.
