Instructions for removal of Memory Card door?

My wife broke the memory card door on our Nikon d3100 DSLR. I have purchased a replacement door but I have been unable to find any instructions on removing the old pin and hinge. I assume I have to take the entire body apart and am willing to but was hoping someone had a step by step.
